Just a quick check in, our return date in June 3rd, then I’ll get to see how the house and everything is, thus fat from what I have heard thickwood is pretty much fine, not even smoke damage and the power wasn’t out long at all, at most a couple hours here and there so our appliances should all be ok. We will need fridges for the rentals because of the power outages up in gregoire, but all in all not too bad, still not internet so pictures will have to wait. It’s frustrating to be sitting and waiting to got home because it’s like waiting to start healing, I just want to go home and clean up.
We moved to thickwood since then I think, but we still own the place in gregoire (and a second one down the road down as well) and all three are safe.
Ummm…I didn’t think anyone here knew where I lived :/ so I didn’t think to check in, sorry.
Yep we are aafe, were more fortunate then many, we had lots of time, two hours, to get prepped so we got our camper loaded up and were able to get all the pets and family members out, except my fish and to the best of my knowledge we have had power so with luck they’ll make it too. Our families are all over Alberta so we have had lots of places offered to us to stay at as well. When I get internet again I’ll post some pictures from our escape 🙂
Aww this thread is like a reunion 🙂
Hi guys.January 11, 2014 at 5:32 am in reply to: Snow Dragons do exist!! I made the front page of the paper!! (Added Snow Tiger 1/3/15) #907658That’s awesome! My sister and I built a dragon in the snow when we were kids, we didn’t get to paint him, we used a silly putty egg for the eyes though lol.
Oh good I’m glad it made it! I packed the tracing number and it’s in the truck lol. I hope she likes it.
This thread is worthless without Afore mentioned cheese pic 😛
I would love to host a flat fuzzy! In April for the Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo, last year I took along a stuffed dog from another forum he got to meet Wil Wheaton, Jon Barrowman, Nathon Fillion and see some fantastic costumes and awesome artwork 🙂
The house we bought has a front loader, I’m not excited about it at all, but I will be looking for the pedestals for sure.
Ya my top load washer is 34 minutes at its longest as well, the front loaders all depended on setting, 30 min was about the shortest on ours, but that was a very quick wash and rinse, up to 1.5 hours on the whites setting.
Don’t know, just don’t love them. I hate that they lock, I find a random sock or shirt I want to be able to throw it in.
Personally I don’t love front load machines, I have worked in hotels and laundry mats and know the havoc they can cause if some tiny thing gets shut in the door. But I do love the no agitator, if I was to go look for new machines I would get a top load no agitator HE washer, best of both worlds and no door to have to make sure locks.
You’re not that lame, I can’t make myself watch Buffy, I have tried, so very hard, I love most of joss’ stuff but cant.watch.buffy, I just can’t make it through maybe I’ll try again some day, but so far just can’t do it.
We are pretty excited for sure, going from a 700sqft trailer to 1400sqft house plus a basement it’s going to be pretty nice for us! I’ll post a thread with pictures once we get moved in, ad everyone gets unpacked! There is even a little display cabinet built into the kitchen that I’m hoping that all my swap pieces will fit in :D.
