I bought the last thing for my recipient today and just finished the wrapping, now to find a box to fit everything and ship it out. I hope to this weekend.

I only have a couple dragon ornaments, and all but 1 I just got are packed up. Only a little tree I can put on the table this year, I don’t trust my busy young pups around the big one! I hope to find more, maybe I should make a couple.
I will take a picture of my little tree with unbreakable ornaments to be safe this weekend hopefully. I work the next few days (my employer is open Thanksgiving) and don’t have it finished yet.
That is a lovely tree, enjoy the dragon ornament and the multicolored lights against that gorgeous blue on the ceiling.
My Windstones are packed up, but I have a Santa’s hat for some victim to wear every year. Funny they don’t make doll sized hats that would fit Windstones easily for sale- only option I’ve seen are made for cats or stolen off teddy bears.

I think I remember reading in the early days of the Forum that back when WE was in California, back near their beginning, employees were sometimes allowed to paint figures with minor defects (2nds, like used for copper patina and raffles) and take them home. I may be remembering wrong, and the time frame would have been late 80s-early 90s- not what this sounds like. Frankly, it does look like a repaint. *shrug*

Since my wants are unobtainable or not yet made (looking at you toaster) I will post my collector mom’s wants.
              In no particular order-
              Natural tanuki
Young Poad in ‘natural’ color scheme (maybe peach?)
Adult poad in ‘natural’ scheme; maybe butternut? She likes Podge
Wild color laying and sitting red foxes

I am sorry for the poopy month Drag0n. The cat is the one that wouldn’t tame from the kittens you brought home from work? I remember you speaking of her. And I am sorry your mom remained true to character to the end. But blessings on the person who helped you with the qilin!

Definitely going on my wish list. Hoping they are released eventually in the various color families. I enjoy the furled wings on some of these newer dragons. Looks to have a very self satisfied smirk hah. He knows he’s (going to be) handsome.

Thanks Etruscan! Love the dragon of course, and second a pretty please on the canine.

They all have value. If you took good photos and advertised them, you should he able to sell them all. None of these figures would have come with tags except possibly the lap. None would have probably had provenance. Boxes help when selling- many are understandably leery of buying such fragile items from an inexperienced shipper- but do not matter enormously if you are willing to pack approximately and let prospective buyers know.

I am not an expert, but I know Apoxie Sculpt is recommended for resculpting areas. As for paint, Golden makes a couple excellent matches for old green’s shades. I can look in my paint box and come back to you with the shades.

We just got tropical storm force winds and rain here, thank you for the rain as we’ve been under drought in the middle of what should be the rainy season. Still getting it some, but back to unseasonably dry by Friday. Prayers for all those affected worse.

At least they took some (very strange) care. Unlike my lap that arrived in a laundry soap box, the kind where the flaps don’t meet in the middle, with a handful of paper towels and that’s it. Amazingly the dragon survived without a scratch.
