OH, that fledgie!!!! I already decided to pass on the color shift Cougars and wait for a lady cat in color shift. So I was going to make a go for the rock dragon, but that fledgie! And it might be safe to assume there will be other sculpts in this new color too. Ack! I don’t know what to go for! Guess I’ll try for the rock dragon first and then go from there!

Lady Cats should be a good choice for the color-shifting paint. 🙂
-grins- I like this idea. How about white base (or black base) calicos where their spots are color shift paint? Or tabbies where their stripes are color shift over flat color (or vice versa). Plus…I don’t have a Lady Cat yet.

I never drank coffee until about ten years ago. My current love is the peppermint mocha flavored creamer. Mana from heaven. Seriously. My hubby likes to change up his creamer, but for me, this is it. Yum!

Alright, she’s pretty much done. Not sealed yet, and the eyes and jewels are not glued in, but I had to see the whole thing together! The pics are a little washed out; it’s hard to get good lighting during this time of year and I am NOT going outside right now and freezing my tushie off just for better light. I swear, I spent more time on the rock than the hippie. I LOVE how it turned out though! The sculpting on this piece is phenomenal! The white fin parts are pearly, as well as the fetlock hair on the lower legs. I added some light pinking to the white snip on the nose, but it is hard to see. This is the first time I did a base in black (the hippie part) and then did the blue over that. It worked wonderfully! I knew that antiquing it might be a tad bit more difficult so I tried this way.

Poop. Gotta wait till Friday. I love the green/purple, but the cyan/purple is a close close second! Hopefully there will still be some. They look fantastic!

Love the choco mint markings, I think little spotty detailing really make sculpts pop!
I like how it’s just random scales painted chocolate. Hmmm, I think I’ll pick up some mint chocolate chip ice cream tomorrow……
