I haven’t heard anything yet on the two I ordered (one of each). I can’t wait to get an ETA.

I just hope they don’t drop late tonight or early tomorrow, since I am having some minor surgery early tomorrow and will be away from my computer for a while. This will be my first grab bag!

OMG, YES.

The only peacock dragon I have that I know is old is my young dragon, who I bought at least 30 years ago. He’s purple and blue with gold trim. I also have a male, mother, and two different hatchlings that I bought as a group, but there were very poorly packed and all arrived damaged and are still sitting in a box in my office. Next time I’m there, I’ll see what their color looks like.

Thanks for the background, very helpful. On the whole, I’ve been delighted to see all the variety that has come out in the years since I bought my first few figures. I just wish I hadn’t missed the chance to buy more of them when they first came out. So many pretties!

As someone who had a long hiatus in buying and following Windstone, I get confused by the different appearances of various “Peacock” dragons. Am I right that there is an “old” Peacock, which was more blue and purple, and a “new” Peacock, that had more green and other colors? The Peacock mentioned that is being offered for $500 appears almost brown or coppery in place and doesn’t seem to have much blue or purple. Other Peacock mother dragons on eBay have much more visible blue and purple. Or is it just a problem with the photos?

October 8, 2020 at 10:35 pm in reply to: So, what’s next on the schedule? (Part 4 NEW for 2020) #1629498It was a lot. However, it is signed with a COA and will not be produced again. I’ve only ever seen 2 maybe 3 come up for sale in those 10 years, so it really depends on how much you want the piece. Prices have come down on many things since I bought that curlie, and I really like it, I refuse to take a loss, so I just don’t bother with even thinking about selling it because I don’t want to fight about price.
I’d actually be tempted at that amount, if I wasn’t looking at a couple of auctions that are likely to be go very high. But after a brief dry spell, I’ve been buying too many Windstones lately. Not that there really is such a thing as “too many Windstones”, but my wallet thinks there is.

It’s one reason I don’t list it for sale because I would need a lot to recoup my initial expense. And I really like it. (Even more important reason I don’t list it)
That sounds like a lot, but it is signed, and such a pretty color.

That’s a shame. I had wondered why they were not shown with the limited production curlies. I mistakenly assumed that meant they had not been made. I guess the Emerald Peacock curlies go on my “not a chance” list.

All the guinea pigs are adorable! And I love the Red Panda Cat Wizard.

Second the Pastel Rainbow wish! I’d also love to see a curlie in Emerald Peacock.

October 3, 2020 at 10:37 am in reply to: So, what’s next on the schedule? (Part 4 NEW for 2020) #1629292I was thrilled to see Tanzanite dragons back for sale (and immediately snapped two up!). Any plans to bring some of the other color families back into production?
Magentas-Cat
FYI So there’s a tanzanite fledgie on ebay…and it’s currently in stock in the store here for $85. There’s also the baby, curled and a another one or two in stock.
THANK YOU! I check regularly, but missed this. Just grabbed a curlie and a bantam.
