Is there going to be a limit on the number of pebble foxes we can buy? These seem like they will be fairly popular, although hopefully with a number like *200*… I really hope I can afford (and have the opportunity) to get a couple. I’d like a whole family of foxes of different colors (or at least a couple!), and I have a friend who LOVES foxes and this would be a perfect gift for. And tomorrow is pay day!! Sooo…

Ahhhh I can’t wait! /rolls all over self

I LOVE these. Please tell me the price for these will be relatively affordable since they’re so small?? I’d really like to be able to buy one for myself and one for a friend whose favorite animal is the fox.

Update: So, me boyohs dad is no longer single… Boyohs did NOT attend, send a card or call. The happily married couple showed up on my doorstep Sunday morning on their way to Vegas and wanted to see me boyohs. Luckily mum answered the door and handled things very calmly and politely (very civilized). Wouldn’t’ve been a good thing had it been me since Rod spent Wednesday and Thursday texting and harassing me boyohs and calling me some VERY vile names and screaming at me for being the “most manipulative, lying biatch the world has ever seen”. Good riddance to bad rubbish. I was very proud of myself for not screaming back and answering only with “I’m sorry you feel that way”. As far as boyohs are concerned, their relationship with their dad is currently nonexistent. His loss.

Speaking as someone whose parents divorced while I was in college, let me just say that you played things smart by trying to be civil in spite of everything. It’s better for you and for your kids that you didn’t sink to his level. My dad was just nasty and vicious and selfish when my mom finally filed for a divorce, and everything he did just dug his hole deeper and deeper with my brother and me. I can’t imagine what it would have felt like if our mom resorted to his kind of nastiness too; it was ridiculous enough the guilt and grief he was putting everyone through.

It’s kind of sad, in a way, because he’s lost out on a lot and I don’t think he really understands or ever will that he’s at fault (because that’s part of his thing, it’s never his fault) but I always feel considerably less sorry when I think of how much better off we all are now that he’s not a part of our regular family life anymore and how much he hurt all of us, before and after. Your boys surely made the right decision, and just to echo what has been said before, you and your sons will all be better off without him, mentally and emotionally.

Personally, I can’t believe these are still in stock 0.o

Too much Blue Morpho already sucking money out of people’s wallets is my guess. 🙂

That’s what happened to me, but I don’t regret it. XD The other thing it could be is it’s not pay day for some people yet. 🙂

Me too! Although, honestly, if I was willing to pilfer into my savings I *could* afford one. However, I want to get a (real) dog by next summer soooo I have to save. But you know, there will always be other things that I want down the line, or so I’m finding. 🙂 So I might be a little disappointed now, but who knows how it could end up working out in the long run!

Ah, so that’s how one can adopt a fuzzy. 🙂 *Makes mental note*

Whaaah! Can’t afford to get in on this grab bag. My wallet said, “NO!” 🙁 Ah well, I’m more a dragon collector anyway so will hold out for the next mini keeper (or other dragon) grab bag. 🙂 But, there are so many fantastic unicorns in the grab bag (especially the ones with dragon tattoos). 😉

My wallet also has told me “absolutely not.” It’s sad, because I know that the ones that I like are the ones that will be in high demand, so they will probably be kept or traded, and by the time I *do* have the money again, I’m certain that there will be none left in stock. Oh, well. You and me, we can live vicariously through other people. And maybe next time!!

Best of luck to you! Japan is amazing, and October is a wonderful time of the year to be touring. 🙂

After my grandmother passed away, her daschund came to live with my mother and brother for a while. She and our elderly collie were goo friends. However, our collie suffered from some neurological condition and was incredibly old and in poor health, and within a year she passed away. Within months of that happening, the daschund started to have mysterious seizures that the vet couldn’t explain, and within weeks of our collie’s death the daschund passed away too. It’s so strange when these things happen, and it’s hard to say if there’s a rational explanation or if it’s coincidence or something else. It does seem though that your cat knew that something wasn’t quite right and wanted to spend those last moments outside. It’s not easy losing a friend and a companion. 🙁 If you need us we’re here for you.

Wow! Most amazing timing ever. Today I slept in late (an occurrence that is becoming much rarer as I get older, wah) and it was almost 11 and I swear I’d only been conscious for about five minutes when suddenly there was a knock at my door. I threw on something presentable fast as I could, opened the door, and there was my PYO package! 8D I’m so close to being able to start now I can practically taste it. Here’s hoping that the package from my family doesn’t go too slowly through the mail system. /fingers crossed They only sent it off Thursday but usually about a week or a week and a half is all it takes, hard to know with the weekend being factored in too though.

The Dick Blick paint order arrived in the mail today! I was really shocked it came so fast, because it seemed like it got put into the post a day later than the Windstones. Which are also now in Japan, according to the tracking service, so I’m thinking either tomorrow or Monday. Then I just have to wait for a box from my mother with the pearlescent stuff and the GAC and brushes and I’m good to go! I’m so excited!!!

I have just used craft acrylic paints myself and found them to be fine. I do not prime my pieces first because I find I need to do 3 or 3 coats of paint on the piece to get the colours I want and if I primed it too, it would make the paint layers too thick. Especially with things like dragon wings I found that if you use too many layers of paint, the little scales will not show up well or be really hard to antique.

Thanks for that bit of advice. I’d have been disappointed if I lost a lot of detail because of too many layers of paint. Everything should be arriving sometime early to mid next week, so I’ll get to figure it all out soon.

Wow. I was actually not planning on getting in on the grab bag action, and I’m pretty sure I can’t afford it, but I have to say after seeing all these pictures I really wish I could. So many lovelies!

I would love to eventually see a standing dragon of some kind. Like on all fours, but I’m sure breakage on the legs or even the tail would be an issue. *has flash backs of broken Grand Unicorns*

Oh, is this why most if not all of the statues are posed in a way so as not to separate the legs too far from the body? This makes a lot of sense. How does this impact the imperials, though? They seem like they’re standing with their legs separated; is breakage usually an issue for them?

Usually, if the order says complete, it’s been shipped. You can email Susie and ask her for the tracking number 🙂

Dang, in that case they got it done quick! I will PM Susie, thanks for the heads up. 🙂

I love Shimmering Embers, though dragon fruit is such a cutie too. No money for it since I just bought a slew of PYOs, but if I *did* have the money I too would be bidding.
