Oriental Sun and Moon and baby dragons in any colorway!
More ki-rin families in different color ways! (White and brown have been done, what about a black/silver?
Also PYO oriental dragons. As someone who has no oriental dragons and am starting to feel like I will never be able to get any hands on officially produced pieces, it would be nice if I could at least try my hand at my own.These red panda and natural tanukis are EXACTLY what I’ve been craving since the fantasy ones got released. (Not that those weren’t nice… but… I want some natural ones!!) Will their prices be closer to the natural wolves and foxes?

So, mine and my brother’s kirin’s arrived late last week. It was a busy weekend for me, though, so there wasn’t any time to post until now.
This beautiful boy arrived first and is definitely a keeper. He has metallic gold-green hair with a slightly darkened muzzle and golden hooves and a golden horn plus green eyes. My brother and I both like him, so he’s definitely found a forever home!
And this was the second fellow to arrive. Neither of us really care for this little guy, unfortunately. He’s cute, but I think my brother was hoping for one of the rootbeers or the dark one with reddish scales (which I believe someone else got). However, I know other people were interested in the ones with white bodies with color, so I’m going to try to make a post listing him for trade or sale and hope someone else likes him better than either of us do.Congrats to the person who was bidding against me and got the Cedar Wood mother ki rin. I think that’s going to be one I regret missing for a long time…
Ahhh these are all looking so great so far. My brother and I have to wait till Thursday or Friday for ours. Hate that Texas is so far away!!
My work week has been pretty stressful, so I didn’t even know this was all happening until I started seeing notifications pop up on Facebook that the website was down. I managed to snag one without an issue, and in fact, my brother was able to get one too. I’m not even sure what I want at this point, I’m just so excited, it’s been months and months since I had a new kirin!!
If anyone is interested in selling one of theirs, or if Melody decided to make more… I’d be really excited….

Yeah, I was lucky actually and it seems someone who ordered one can’t keep it, so I may be able to get it for a little more than original asking price to make up for shipping. I feel bad for them, but I’m rather thankful now that I said something.
Wow, the effect of that wash turned out great. I’m curious, how does a wash work, exactly? I have a PYO that I’ve been workng on for a while, and I need to add some depth to it once I’m satisfied with the over all colors. I bought staining media (the decoart stuff people have suggested before) but I’ve never actually done anything like it, so I’m quite nervous…
I’ve been looking forward to the PYO oriental so much over the last–year? year and a half? two years? not sure how long it’s been now–and I am so excited to see how good it’s looking. I really hope that Melody can finish him up and get the castings started for them within the next month or two. I want to paint this PYO so bad, and I’m trying to hold off on ordering any kitsune until these fine fellows are available as well.
