I’m starting to get the shakes – it’s called Poad addiction and the only thing that calms it is more Poads!  Woe is me!  The Live Stream started it up again.  I’m even considering changing my pledge to a higher tier.  I’m sure Melody won’t mind – she’ll just have to paint more!  But to get more of those Poads–haven’t been buying for a while but now it’s catching up to me.  Gotta…have…Windstones….Poads……lots of them!  If I up my pledge, Melody, would you do a knock out job of painting some special Poads???????  Like you don’t already.  Gaaaaahhhh–anyone else have this problem?  Need support here–should I or shouldn’t I – money’s there but, but…can’t make up my mind!

THANK YOU so much Melody! I really appreciate that you try and accommodate peoples wishes. That was the first Poad I wanted and then that happened – well, things happen. And it’s true – each repaired Windstone has a story to tell. It makes it more valuable to me. Thank you again!

The Live Stream was great! Loved seeing all the Poads to be given as awards. Glad to be able to personally pick out the ones that spoke to me. Thank you for your patience, Melody. It did get crazy at times but everyone was pretty cool whenever two people wanted the same Poad. One would usually give it up – no conflicts – no fights – just fun, fun, fun. There was one I had you pick up so I could see it but then it got dropped and chipped the toes! Ugh – I think of that little Poad and would have liked to have her. This was towards the beginning – it had feathers on it and it reminded me of an Indian design. Any chance it could be salvaged?

I’ll fix her and add her to your stuff, free. I feel really bad about dropping her. They are slippery!

I remember people saying that certain people wanted certain Poads but I can’t remember.  Yes, I think she did pull some for those people.  Email Melody and ask.  I do remember Melody saying that she would do a second Live Stream.  Maybe you could give her an idea of when you’d be available – she mentioned wanting to do it so more people could participate.

I feel for your loss – it is so hard to lose a pet. To tell someone they have to ‘move on’ gets me as well. It’s like your grief isn’t justified and it’s an inconvenience to these people. You grief as long as you need to and guess what, years later you still feel the loss.

I recently lost one of my birds, a female Eclectus parrot named BeBe. It happened so quickly – she had a heart attack and died in my arms. I still feel the loss of a beloved dog named Percy – that was 6 years ago and he helped me through the loss of my husband. I don’t think I’d be here if it wasn’t for that little dog. His spirit is still in this house; in fact, I woke up one night and saw something black and furry lie down on the bed. I felt that was Percy sleeping with me like he always had.

Our pets give us unconditional love — no matter what we look like, they love and accept us for who we are. When they go, they leave a huge hole in your heart. Sadly, most people don’t understand that – feel sorry for them because they’ve never known the close, unconditional love of a pet.

My heart goes out to you. Time will soften the blow but you will never forget.

Jennifer – does your friend know how one could get these songs–where to buy them etc?

Perhaps I spoke too soon about posting pictures–how do we do this? I’ll ask this in the Help section.

My DVD player is starting to skip when playing discs–doesn’t always do it so I know it isn’t the disc. Just frustrating because I got a cold and just wanted to snuggle up and watch a movie and then this happens. DVD player is 7 years old–thought things like this should last a little longer before starting to crap out. Guess I’m asking for too much. I sigh along with everyone else.
