Lap Dragon, Emperor, Old Warrior, Scratcher, Mini Keeper and Spectral have not yet been done in Lavender Pearl. Nor has the Secret Keeper.
I think the Lap Dragon would be the best out of these sculpts in Lavender Pearl…
Got another one…what should an Emerald Mother Coiled Dragon be worth? Someone wants $350 for it, I feel like that is CRAZY high and I have no intention of coming anywhere close to that price but I’d like to know what it SHOULD be worth approximately.
That gorgeous dragon wearing the Black Rainbow #1 is most def highly drool worthy! Any chance at all we might see this killer color scheme on griffins???

The Black Rainbow was a color I was saving to replace one of the other “black” dragon colors when they had had their run. Gina started painting them for ebay, but eventually we will do them as some kind of production.

If you look at bidders on the “Fire Berry” Riser and the “Checkered Copper” Emp (that’s as far back as I went) you will see the e***l(40) bidder involved in those auctions with a similar bidding pattern.
It seems to me that the bidding probably is two bidders new to Windstones, and likely not on the Forum, who are competing on the auction. The lister may also be honest but ignorant, or not … No real way to tell, but never underestimate ignorance as a factor in ebay auctions!
I had noticed it was the same bidder from those other auctions. Someone with lots of money apparently!
Haha. I don’t think I have caught myself remembering auctions in the shower before but there were a few times when I didn’t have internet at home, that I would run a couple blocks to Tim Horton’s to use their free wifi to try and get a grab bag because my phone data was too slow! Now I have high speed internet thankfully since I moved. That black rainbow male is very pretty! I am just saving money for grab bags for now though.
Ha, yep you’re an addict too! The black rainbow male is gorgeous, reminds me of the black rainbow mini keeper I missed out on. I bet he will get bid up too high but we’ll see.
I wonder if the car and beers in the photo are included in the package? LOL
Hahaha. No, those are probably an extra $1,000. Really who would even consider bidding on anything with a photo like that and one of the items, the mother pegasus, is either filthy or really scuffed up. Most of the items probably have issues if you really got a look at them, none of them are rare, and I’d be absolutely shocked if they didn’t smell like smoke.
You know you have a serious Windstone addiction when…you’re in the shower and remember that one of the Windstones you’re bidding on on eBay is ending in a few minutes and you take the fastest shower of your life and jump out and run to your computer in your towel!
Lots of bugs love cardboard boxes, especially roaches. I keep all of my boxes in trash bags that are taped shut. Kind of a pain if you need to access them a lot but better than having them out for critters to live in and snack on. I’ve received packing materials with bugs in them (NOT anything new from Windstone) and even received a unicorn with eggs on it – almost dropped it when I saw that!

Agreed! I keep wanting a water sprite dragon but haven’t quite felt like coughing up the funds but she is Very Tempting!
Awww I’m so sorry that happened to you! There is nothing worse than getting that box you’ve been anxiously awaiting and opening it up only to find a broken Windstone.
The “Checkered Copper” emperor is lovely. He looks like a real creature.
He really does! He looks like a snake. That amount of detail looks very complicated – probably never a production color possibility!
As we are all well aware, buying Windstones on eBay can be frustrating and often result in disappointment but I took a chance on another piece and got lucky this time – this Peacock Old Warrior is probably not anything that rare but he is in perfect condition and I think he is fantastic 🙂
