I snagged one but it was such a debate with the cosmic shift lap dragon on Ebay (and that’s definitely a grail piece for me…my favorite colors all mushed together and silver sparkles, woo!). But I bit the bullet, so here’s hoping it doesn’t bite me in the hindquarters.

I like the three dark ones in the middle of the pyramid so far–the black with pearl marbling, the zebra, and the one my brain dubbed Grecian dapple (since it has what appears to be gold leaves/vining and blue spots).

I can’t wait to see what else is out there.

The Grecian dapple as you’ve dubbed it is why I almost bit the bullet and got one but what would be the odds I would get that one really? I had one in my cart the minute the notice went out but I decided to be responsible for once and let it go. Can’t wait to see photos of what everyone gets!

What a gorgeous hippocampus! This is one of my favorites I’ve seen so far.

There is one on eBay now. Starting bid is very low, maybe you will get a deal (although they do have a nasty tendency to get bid up at the end of the auction).http://m.ebay.com/itm/Windstone-Editions-Flion-Winged-Lion-VERY-RARE-Sculpture-/391376693784?nav=SEARCH

I’m going to have to respectfully disagree about Emerald Peacock – I love that color! I would love to see Water Sprite dragons in production someday though.

Emerald Peacock is pretty. My thinking was that since it has been produced for several years (introduced in 2006/2007) maybe it is time for something new in that color range.

True. I just need to hurry and get the rest of the Emerald Peacock pieces I need first!

That monarch is s stunner! I’d be sorely tempted if I had t just blown the budget on the Cayenne family (No regrets!). Good luck, bidders!

                SQUEEEE!!! They’re all together!

On the topic of following who wins what, I personally like to check it out because I love my families being together <3 when I'm painting them they all have stories and it makes me really happy when they get to stay together! ๐Ÿ˜€

(I choked on my drink when I saw what the green guy went for! Taste the rainbow ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

I had to look up what the green guy went for after it was mentioned – wow! Over $3,500 for all six fledglings. They will be a beautiful set though! I really wanted the candied grape and candied blueberry.

                    Ok!

                    Got it, thanks! So cute!

There was a lot of enthusiasm for the “Hot Rod” Riser, but in the end he sold for store price.

Edit – Now that I look at recent auctions, the “Water Sprite” OW and the “Autumn Falls” female griffin sold for BELOW store price, and the “Oil Spot” scratcher was also roughly store price. Maybe the upcoming Christmas season is affecting the bidding?

I saw how low the water sprite OW went for, wish I had bid on it! Someone got a steal!

Guess who I won (to my surprise). Love the colors on this one – and finally getting a piece by Gina is even better. ๐Ÿ™‚

Congratulations! I had to try very hard to keep myself from bidding on this one.

I have a ‘Sunset moth’ phoenix painted by Grayfire Artz I believe. I really like the rainbow of colours!

Sounds beautiful! Post a picture when you get a chance!

There is no end to the amazing possibilities of dragons based on butterflies and moths! On another note I just sent my payment finally for the Midnight Iceberg dragon and I am super excited to get it. My very first test paint dragon! I have watched plenty recently but never saw one I was willing to really fork over a lot of money for until that beauty.

As someone with a Bachelor’s Degree in Entomology I am LOVING the butterfly inspired dragons like Monarch and Blue Morpho! Can we have a Spanish Moon Moth dragon or maybe a Sunset Moth dragon?????
