Thanks Natasha! I agree, I was not a fan of them either and certainly planned to trade if I got one but I lucked up and got a nice one!
Bullsquid, I love that dark grey splash overo! I have a real overo paint mare but she’s a chestnut overo.
Got my next three grab bag horses today! I am in love with the dun in particular! I didn’t want an appaloosa but actually the one I got is quite pretty.
I’ve been away from Windstones for a while (aside from selling some pieces on ebay and grabbing a few of the new Tanzanite colored dragons) but I couldn’t resist the grab bag horses! This is my first one, now that the limit has been lifted and I’ve seen one in person I ordered 3 more and can’t wait to see what I get! Unless I get super lucky I’m sure I will be open to trades!
I really don’t like not being able to see how many of each item are left in stock. That is a large part of how I decide what to buy and when.
I keep meaning to come up with a new Pegasus color, but haven’t gotten to it. I really don’t like bright metallic paint on these, so I am avoiding that option, but maybe some normal color? I like appaloosa and roan because the inevitable little paint glitches look fine on them. Otherwise it would need to be pinto or a solid, opaque color like dark bay. The lighter golden colors, like palomino or buckskin look wonderful, but they are not fixable if there is a paint splat. Splats happen. I really wish there was some way to do a good dapple grey – I mean without hand painting every dapple.
Dapple grey would be SO amazing. Maybe blue roan instead?
So many cool horse colors to choose from but a lot of the best ones would be the golden tones like dun (leg stripes!), champagne, golden champagne, cremello, perlino. Some Norwegian Fjord pegasi or unicorns would be pretty fantastic.
I’d still love to see a blue roan Pegi family, or any kind of roan!
I thought I saw some bay roan unicorns for sale in the classifieds on here

I would love a dreamscape fledgling and baby dragon! I know I won’t be able to afford the eBay one and I second that these have a combo of all my favourite colours! I would pick this colour scheme over the other colours we have seen so far!

Do you mean something different from the original black Pegasus coloring?
They still have 10 of these guys in the store, so I’m not sure how popular it was.
Seems like the mother and baby were popular in this color but not the male. It seems like the male pegasi are less popular overall versus the mother and baby sculpts. I have this guy and I think he is gorgeous!
This little fella just arrived. Not what I was looking for but as the one I was in love with I’d already with Aggie, I’ll put this one up for trade for a darker one. I really want a dark with orange/red but I’m not sure there are any others like that so I’ll look at anything dark.
This fella has a base of light brown, tan & cream but has scattered color shift in reds on the base cost. He also has magic paint, and an intricate design in color shift. More color shift in purples details his wings and he has lavender eyes. It’s a great, intricate paint job.

Oh my gosh, that male in Dreamscape…. Be still my heart. SO BEAUTIFUL! That bright aqua grabs all those cool colors and just pushes them to the next level. Dang, I can’t decide which of Gina’s paint schemes is my favorite. Every time I think I’ve decided a new one comes out and I have to reassess!
