Wow. DDVM, I certainly hope you take the opportunity to go to CA just because you want to. Don’t worry so much about getting things together. You may or may not have the chance to do it again. I certainly hope you do. I am glad you’re feeling better. As for your nausea…cancer drugs are quite noxious. But you probably already know that. Don’t give up, as others have said. Positive outlook affects not only quality of life, but quantity of life. Those with a positive outlook have a better chance of surviving longer than expected. They certainly live better than those that have a negative outlook.
Fantastic!!
I absolutely agree, drag0n.

The Temeraire series by Naomi Novik. They are excellent!

What can we do? Be supportive of one another. No one man (or woman) runs this country. Not that I think our government is in good shape these days, but bickering is a quick way to let off steam and get nothing at all done. So here’s what we do- support each other. Watch what happens next. Watch the legislation and bills put forward, and if you disagree with them, be heard! Write to your congress and senate persons! This is where we make an even bigger difference than when we vote for President. Most folks get fired up about the election, then ignore the things that truly change our country, which is the legislation that goes into place afterward. If you want to make a difference, stay on top of that and be heard.
Booing and hissing is poor form. Why bother? You’re displeased and that’s fine, but yelling ‘you suck!’ at either party only generates a lot of negativity which isn’t gonna help too much.
Hear Hear!!

We just made history! I, for one, am excited!
Thank you, Chessapeaka. Regardless of which side of the fence you are on, we have made history.
I voted first thing this morning. No line. I am more excited about this election than any that I can think of. I hope the election turns out the way I think it will. But there are no guarantees. I’ll be watching as the polls close. After band rehearsal, anways.

That’s a bummer. I think people are feeling a bit more budget constrained right now. The economy is scaring them, and lots of people have been out jobs on and off over the past year or two. Hope the receipts show that you sold more than you thought.
I sooo want both of them, but can’t afford it. Good luck. And someday I’ll get an oriental dragon. Just not today. *sigh*
….WOW….
Oh oh! I want!!
I’m so sorry, ddvm. Not only do you have bad news, but the circumstances make the situation worse. Insurance is so expensive, yet the companies that provide it, always have some excuse *not* to provide it. Ugh. And the waiting…
You’re in my thoughts and prayers. -
