Or by Tuxedo do you mean a Putting on the Ritz type theme? Glitz, glamor, sparkle and flash so to speak? I think a theme could be quite a bit of fun.
The weather here in Oklahoma was crazy tonight. We drove down from St. Louis to attend a wedding tomorrow and ended up tangled up in the mess along I40 and 35. Not the sort of thing I ever care to repeat. There is definately some crazy flooding going on, hopes and prayers for the people who caught the worst of it.
So thankful the weather is looking clear for our trip back home on Sunday. Peeps who live in Oklahoma are some crazy brave folk. Tornados are some seriously scary stuff.
Sorry for the lack of pictures out of me, I’ve been down with a stomach bug the last couple of days, seems to be running through the household. I will get the pictures I took of Griff up sometime today.
I snuck home from work over lunch to pick up a few things and found my swap waiting for me on the door step! The name on his base was Griff and he is absolutely stunning! I can’t say enough how perfect he is. He is a cross between a robin and a red winged black bird, it is amazing just how rich and vibrant his coloring is.
Thank you so much Pegasus4240! I can’t tell you how much I absolutely adore him. I will get some pictures when I get home this evening and get them posted up to share.
I am so glad you like her Kaytana! I think I spent longer researching and finding the source pictures than the actual paint job took. She started out as a Ki-Rin since the Unicorns were out of stock but I was lucky enough to catch one. I was a million times happier with the way it laid out on the unicorn sculpt. The rump markings were my absolute favorite part to do. 😛
USPS is often odd for me. The package apparently arrived, yet it is still listed on the tracking as being at it’s first point. Zero update. Just glad it made it in one piece!

I started my trade a week ago, got it mostly done and then insperation struck and now I am completely restarting it. 0.o There is enough time for that right? Sure there is.. I can do this.
It is quite tempting to mount the bigger eyeballs just to make the poor unicorn look quite surprised.

Four hours of research later I find myself with a folder of about sixty referance photos and a shopping list of paint colors that I don’t already own. Oh… Darn.. not a trip to the local craft stores.. oh no, not that. 😛
