The idea was mentioned of perhaps having each person send two fuzzies. One would be for travel and the other would be to keep. If you find you love a fuzzy to much to send it on, perhaps you could swap it out with another one to send it on it’s way?
The passport could go with the fuzzy you choose to send back out into the world and if it is switched up, simply add a new picture.
I was thinking about gathering up all of the traveling fuzzies at the end of the year and having an adoption thread to send them onto their final homes, sort of a raffle for all involved. If some of them don’t make it back then no real harm is done.
March 13, 2014 at 8:13 pm in reply to: Mixed Medium Sculpture Swap(s) ( clay, poly clay, resin, etc. ) #909706I would be quite interested, I think it is a clever idea.
I am absolutely in for another swap!
Corvus? Perhaps it is just the wings and a love of shiney things, but I can’t help but think of the latin name for Ravens.
We use a glue called Insta-cure+ it is made for putting pewter game models together. I’m not sure if you can order it online or not, our local game shop sells it. Amazing stuff. I would be happy to send you a bottle if you can’t find something else that will work.
Actually it pops up all over online turns out!

I finally managed to liberate my package from the post office after they decided I was the person who was suppose to get it. They have been holding it hostage for over a week now!
It couldn’t have been more perfect!
I absolutely adore that little owl and the kanji for Joy and Good Luck was such a sweet touch. The snowflake will go perfectly wtih the collection I have had since I was a little girl. Thank you so much!
I am in love with that color scheme so far.
Thank you Etaven!
What a wonderful suprise to find on my doorstep this morning! Ellie had to come and explore the moment she heard the shift of a treat bag inside, I am fairly sure she would have climbed in had I not opened them for her.
I highly recommend checking out her website and ordering a candle, the rainwater scent is amazing and filled the room in no time, and I can’t wait to see what little surprises are hidden inside the wax. http://www.wanderingdruid.net
(Pardon my curious Muse and Griffins peeking around, they were sweet enough to hold things up for me.)
The dreamcatcher had the most amazing little owl beads on it. I adore owls and this will be finding a place in my craft room.
Thank you so much for all the thought you put into my gift!
The first comment that popped to mind on your dragon picture. “No one puts Baby in a corner.” Not sure what it is about the pose but it gave me a good giggle. I really hope you get to feeling better and they figure out what is wrong. Sending good thoughts your way.
I am so glad she got there safe and sound and that you like her. I think I started repainting her four different times before I finally got something I liked. 🙂
So glad that Purple made it back okay. He and Fleecy got to be such good friends while he was here that I couldn’t help but ship them back together! He even got a heart to match hers.
I did find it after I emptied out the peanuts into another box. Thank you, they are perfect and the fuzzie has joined the brood on top of my monitor.
Meet Birch! This stunning fellow was painted by Ghostndragon and titled “Silver Birch Autumn”. It was love at first sight when I opened up his packaging. This round of pictures doesn’t do him proper justice, and I will try and catch more tomorrow when the sun might peek out. For now here are some indoor night shots because I just can’t wait to share!
And a close up of the stunning birch pattern!
Ghostndragon! I absolutely love it! I was stunned when I opened the box, the texture of the birch is beyond words. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I will try and get pictures put up tomorrow when we have some natural light.
