Congratulations, Michael, that “Forest Sentinel” old warrior is a beauty. I have his twin brother from a few years ago, the “Forest Spirit” old warrior.

I’ve had a fun time playing “spot the differences” with the Black Emerald Peacock prototype old warrior and my regular old warriors. 🙂 There are some sculptural differences that I didn’t expect. The best way I can describe the difference is that the prototype OW has more punctures and scratches, while the regular OW has craggy scale/wing edges instead.

You might want to check Kijiji or local moving supply stores. I’ve seen giant bags of packing peanuts for sale for very cheap, even for free sometimes. The last time I moved, I bought a bag of peanuts nearly as tall as me for no more than $20 from a moving supply store. I could barely cram the bag into the back of my car; it filled the whole back seat area.

The back of the kitty wizard’s robes has amazing detail! I’m surprised they didn’t make this an Ebay piece. Whoever wins this is super lucky.

Thanks for posting that link, Etruscan. I tried doing a search of the forum for pictures of Oceania, and I ended up finding a post I made back in October 2011 about really liking Oceania. Really goes to show how far back some of these pieces go, and that’s not even the oldest.

I know my Melanistic Black #1 Test Paint Male Lion as has had at least two owners before me but he may have had more….he’s not going anywhere anymore though, I love him too much to let him go!

He’s gorgeous, FatalBeauty and very rare! I never owned him, but I own the similar Black Violet lion. And I owned him, traded him for a grail, and then was eventually able to buy him again! Congrats on your gorgeous piece!

I was the first owner of the Black Violet Lion. He was my very first Ebay test paint, but certainly not the last! I thought the purple glitter in his mane was very unique. I think I sold/traded him because his pure fantasy coloration didn’t quite fit my collection. I’ve traded/sold several pieces for that same reason, yet that doesn’t stop me from buying fantasy pieces. I guess I never learn when it comes to Windstones, lol.

I like blue eyes if they match well with a color scheme, but not if they seem out of place. I don’t like Black Gold as a color scheme very much because the blue eyes just look wrong to me. I think tan/gold eyes would look great in a lot of instances where blue eyes are used.

That said, I think the blue eyes on the Winter Sunset male griffin nicely highlight the blue interference paint.

I would LOVE a snake sculpt. That would lend itself to all sorts of natural patterns and fantasy test paints.

Wowie, Natasha! that’s one heck of a unicorn collection. Do you offer sight-seeing tours of your shelves? lol

I like Bantam dragon. Makes him sound like a plucky rooster and denotes his small size.

Ooh yes, new dragons! A simple straight-foward Kickstarter with just the dragons themselves as rewards should work fine, I would think. But they definitely need a name first. I agree with Ela Hara, a poll with several of the most popular suggestions (pre-approved as acceptable by Windstone, of course). Here are some that people have suggested that are unique enough to not get confused with other sculpts:

                            Sentry Dragon
                            Squire Dragon
                            Mystic Dragon
                            Seer Dragon
                            Bandit Dragon
                            Princeling Dragon

So, now that the GB cougars have come and gone, what’s the next grab bag on the horizon? It’s been 3 years since the last (and only?) pebble horse grab bag, so how about them? I think they would look awesome in a variety of safari patterns; zebra, tiger, oryx, springbok, bongo, okapi, giraffe, red panda, regular panda, etc. 🙂

I think so far we’ve seen the “first wave” of cougars, but there are still 40 from the fantasy batch that haven’t turned up yet. Hopefully, the non-USA based collectors start receiving their cougars and post them so we can all enjoy ogling more pretties. 😀

Thanks! I could hardly believe it; I’m never that lucky with grab bags.
