I didn’t know about the old warrior tag until I was examining my new peacock OW…just happend to look at the tag and noticed that it has “old warrior dragon” actually written on it, so I looked inside and there was his little story! ^_^

-J R R Tolkienyeah, the ridge of eye feathers over only one eye was one of the things I was going to mention…along with two toes on the left foot looking like a uni-toe…and a few other things…

-J R R TolkienSorry to everyone who is in favor of “dibs” for the part I played in making a fuss about it…I was cranky when I posted that! Though I do admit I’m happy about the private IDs – I hope they do that on the PYO auctions from now on. It makes it much more fair for Windstone and Nambroth.

-J R R TolkienIs there anyone besides me who finds the hangtags to be super annoying??? They ruin the fantasy of the piece a little bit for me…plus I’m always afraid I’m going to bend them the wrong way or something when I put a piece back down on a shelf. They irritate me! But of course I can’t bring myself to take any of them off…
The only one I kind of like is the one for the Old Warrior, because it’s got a little blurb on that particular dragon on the inside, telling us a little about the old warrior – I didn’t know he was supposed to have a kink in his tail before I read that! (I thought it was just twitched to the side a little, like a cat twitching the tip of it’s tail.) That’s kind of cool. Are there any other tags that talk about their pieces on the inside??

I didn’t know it was possible, but I love him even more now that I can see him in person! ^_^ His colors are so rich! I really don’t know HOW the heck you can blend things like that….If I had tried to do that color scheme it would have looked like mud!

-J R R TolkienI’m glad I got those clawfoot candleholders from Dragon’s Laire – I was surprised to see them on ebay too, when I had never heard of them until now. 😯 I’m happy – I feel like I paid a fair price. Thanks again for the link, Mimi! Now I have to find some nice candles….
😕 I’ve been considering excluding the Bell Jar from my search criteria…it does come up a lot.

-J R R TolkienI like the hatching emperor better than the empress, myself! I think it may just be that there are so few Windstone dragons with their mouths open….and his little claws gripping the egg shell…he just looks engergetic, where the empress is sort of at rest.

Ski – no need to be jealous, just commission a new one from me! XD Though like I said to Drag0n, not really really soon…for one thing, I have a griff, a kirin and a REALLY BIG thing to paint before I take any more commissions…but by then I’ll totally be ready to do another tabby!

-J R R TolkienI, too, LOVE the stocking, Spark. A while back I got a “goth” Kathullu plushy…he’s black and silver and very huggable. I love messing with his tentacles. ^_^
For christmas I got a ruby lap dragon from my local store from my mom and grandma! She’s BEAUTIFUL! I love the ruby color now.
My finace got me the brown and white Old Warriors, for which I will be forever grateful.
(he also got me something else he wasn’t supposed to, so I suppose it counts as a christmas present – I found a mint emerald coiled dragon for $60 that a store still had and he bought it for me. SQUEE!)
I got to go to the Windstone factory, which I see as a huge X-mas present from Melody and the gang ^_^
I got a very pretty soft cumfy shirt from my grandma…
and MONEY from various realatives that live far away which I will undoubtedly be spending on more Windstones in the future.I am pleased.
