Annnnnnd my grabby hands are itchy again. I am drooling over your all your unis pony-up. Absolutely incredible collection.
Oh, I am just drooling over those koi kirins. Especially that fellow second-from last. What a gorgeous collection you have there!
Thank you, the last two koi-rins belong to my oldest and she is very attached, but the one with the silver “hood” is available if you are interested.
@ pony-up, I have some SERIOUS grabby hands for some of your mommas, what a gorgeous collection
LOVE the fishy cat conga line!
===========
Don’t know if this is cheating a little, since they aren’t all mine, but here are the conga lines my girls and I can come up with when we consolidate our baby unis and ki-rins.Our thanks to the lovely forum members who made these little conga lines possible. 😀
Soooo, would it be horrible to ask about the young uni grab bag this soon after Christmas? 😉 I have Christmas money in an envelope that is dedicated to a grab bag uni – young or baby, but I so hope young.
@Dragoneer_88 – it is a store that specializes in dragons, virtually every (and I do mean every) item in there was dragon related. As far as particular lines, the only one I specifically remember was pocket dragons. But there were oriental looking pieces and just all sorts of different dragons of all shapes and sizes – it was pretty wild. I do not remember the store name, but it was in Chattanooga TN.
Love this thread and seeing all the lovelies in their different “outfits”.
Betrluk1 and Rylorian – I just kept imagining a Momma Poad in front of all those tadpoads as she herded them around. Too cute.
Chloe – oh, my – those rock dragons – gorgeous.
@Ferlin1984 and Dragoneer_88
I know, right – I couldn’t believe it when I saw him. He is a production piece, not a test paint, but I SO did not care. He hid in a corner of my husband’s study until Christmas because there was no way I was putting him in a box and risking damage. My kids may be in college, but they still shake packages. 😉 (They also had a white gothic unicorn that I snatched up for myself- he has a little flea bite on the front left hoof that you can see in the pic, but I got him for $50, so I am really not complaining). I did feel like I lucked out massively that day.
Pardon me while I pick my jaw up off the floor. What an absolutely beautiful collection, congratulations. I hope that purple shows up for you someday.
That’s a blast from the past. I grew up in Texas and Real Musgrave had a booth at the Texas Renaissance Festival and I would treat myself to one of his prints each year. I remember the first time I saw one of the figurines (years later) and I thought “gee, those look like they were based on Real Musgraves’s prints” – duh! 😉
Happy Birthday, Susie. You’re a gem! :party:
absolutely stunning! beautifully done, congrats.
December 27, 2015 at 9:25 pm in reply to: The First Annual Windstone Forum Fall/Winter Chocolate Swap! (CHECKING IN!!) #938836HOLY COW!!! I mailed those on Dec 3rd. I had no idea, they would take so long. BUT, I am so glad you like them. 🙂 And a belated Merry Christmas to you as well.
Thank you so much Melody! As this is my first Christmas card from you, I wasn’t sure what to expect but it’s absolutely gorgeous!
I don’t know how I’m going to display it yet…I don’t want anything to happen to it but I want to be able to open it too so that I can see the little guy on the inside. Such a conundrum.
Nevertheless, a gushing font of gratitude towards you!
I scanned the inside and printed it out on photo paper so I could put them side by side, (because “nobody puts baby in the corner”) 😉
