I don’t remember anyone here wanting one, but I thought I would ask before putting her up on ebay. She is new, with no chips and only two little flea bit things on the bottom. I’m almost afraid to put her on ebay since you never see rubys there. So if any of you guys are interested, I was hopeing to get $70 maybe?

Yay! He arrived today! Man he is huge 😯 As big as one of my cats! Heavier, too. I’m suprised that the person charged only 12$ for shipping! I’m glad he got here in one piece.

Yeah, it is a bit confusing…I thought she meant that she would fix them up and sell them on Ebay so that other people could enjoy them…

That, or find homes with forum users! πŸ™‚ Like I said I might be able to a repair service here and there, but I can’t fully offer it at this time due to my own time limitations. I’d love the old warrior to fix up, but I’m sure Saydee wants to keep him!! πŸ˜†

Hehe, mine :D! Well, if you ever decide to, I’d love for you to fix him up! I have no idea how…

Thanks guys! I couldn’t beleive my eyes when I saw him! I was running around franticly for ten minutes trying to get ahold of my mom’s cell phone. I was sure someone else was going to get it! But wow, I think thats the cheapest windstone I’ve ever gotten 😯

Saydee> I’m not too wild on driving, either (I’m on a RENEWED permit, I’m taking that long to learn), but Columbia isn’t as easy to get around by foot as wherever you live in St. Louis may be. 😑 I live far away from the nearest bus stop (1.5 mile walk- I’ve done it dozens of times, but never enjoyed it) and to be honest, I just feel like I’d have more freedom to say…go out and buy Windstones without my parents saying “isn’t that too much money?” XD

I wish I lived somplace where I could get away without driving much, but meh. 😐

St. Louis isn’t particularly easy to get around in, and it doesn’t have a subway system, though we did just get this new metrolink train thing in that should make it easyer to get around. Public transportation isn’t good at all here because st. louis is really made up of tons of little cities that all HATE eachother πŸ˜†

Well, you could still get in a accident if you are walking or on a bike. I actually think the car is better most of the time. It is more likely to protect you. My opinion anyway.

Well, I’m not really scared of being injured in a car accident as I am irritating people or hurting them with really bad driving. A bike might not be safer, but its less likly to kill someone.

Oooh, I wish I had one too. I’m pretty sure no one will be willing to part with theirs, but we can hope πŸ™‚

    Thats hilarious SPark πŸ˜†

I’m mortally afraid of ticks. Not other bugs really, or even spiders that much, but I am HORRIFIED at the thought of having a tick attached to my neck or arm or something and NOT EVEN KNOW IT. We have lots of ticks around here, and though I havn’t found one since I can remember, they scare meeee ><

And oh yes, driving. Being IN a car isn’t as bad, but the thought of driving seems very scary to me, though I still have another two years till I can get a lisense! My though processing time is really slow, and I forget simple things, even if I’ve been doing them for a long time. And when you are on the road, people have no patiance with you, everyone wants to get where they are going as quickly as possible, and I’m afraid that I would crash…all the time…or something. Maybe I will get a really nice bike instead of a car. I’m sure my parents would be happier about that πŸ˜€

There is also the Guardians of Ga’Hool series that is young adult It is about Owls, and their lives. In this world the humans are all gone, and have been for many years, I read them and quiet enjoyed them.

I started that series, and LOVED the first one. But I didn’t like the ones after that so much, and I didn’t get past the 4th one. There are like 8 volumes now or something!

I usually work sitting on the living room floor. The tv is there, and I can listen to tv while I work. Watercolors spread out on the floor, and a big bowl of water. Its comfy enough for me πŸ™‚

I found plenty of younge adult fantasy books to read when when I was on that level of reading. That was a couple of years before Harry Potter became really big. I found plenty of stuff to read. Brain Jaques, Diana Wynne Jones, Tamora Pierce, plus Narnia and a couple others that were mentioned. I’m not sure all those where before Harry Potter.
Bunnicula was fun…I did a book report on that book, or maybe one of the squels. Ah, good times.

Kind of off topic, but I find that young adult books are sometimes more (in my opinion) creative and imaginitive. As if authors with younger readers arn’t so afraid to do stuff thats really weird. Is this just me(I honestly don’t know)?
