oh, well that is VERY usefull to know!!I’ll have to remember that. I too thought that all there was to do was report them to ebay staff.
Oh and after looking at these, I think they are rip offs, not repaints. Making a mold to cast these is not terribly hard and would explain the convex painted eyes (most folks that would rip these off would cast the whole Windstone without trying to remove the eyes)… But this is one reason why Windstone discourages repaints- not to stifle creativity but to help avoid legal headaches. If it’s this hard for us collectors to tell the difference, that could be a problem!

Well, the Wizard we have has a name scratched into it thet you can’t really read where the Pena logo SHOULD be. (I think anyway, I don’t have any wizards actually)I just wondered if this is the same company or not since we used to do business with them at one time. I wonder if they ripped off several different ones or if it was a fluke? I guess since the company had been out of business for over 10 years it wouldn’t really matter, but I still want to check it out.

I think it’s a ripoff… eek. Can’t tell. If it’s a repaint then someone popped the eyes out. Again, this is the problem repaints pose. 🙁
