    Thank you guys! ^_^

Back with handful more. My PYO swap piece is also done, but you cant see it yet, sorry.

First, a couple old peices from last year that I never posted.

From the last several pyo swaps I give you Chow Chow, Peo and Earthquake. Earthquake was a collab with mary.

…k I also have Olive from the Spring 2015 Swap

and I have lily from the Fall 2015 Swap

    I probably have more I am forgetting…. o.O

Next up, Two Sushi Cats I was commissioned.
    Meet Tuna and Fishstick.
They both has the rainbow sparkly paint all over them, though it doesn’t photo well in cloudy weather.

I have this flap cat thats been sitting around half painted for the past year.
Her name is Myst and she a mix of various left over paints from my pyo swap and other pieces.

Next up is Sequine the Zebracorn. For those that may remember, in the Spring 2014 swap, there was a mishap that shattered a portion of laundry2011’s piece that I ended up painting Peo for as a last minute replacement. Sequine is that broken piece. Her back end fractured and shattered into to many peices and she lost an ear and several tail and mane pieces. Well I finally got her fixed and cleaned up for laundry2011. She also has magic rainbow sparkle paint, and I painted her to match her original pastel work.

Lastly is another hippocampus commission…I forgot to finished pics, but here she is before eyes and gems anyways/

So I am pretty sure this is up to date now. Thanks for looking! ^_^ Usually open for commissions in both repairs and pyo’s. Just pm me here or on Facebook!

The jackalope painting is great! I love the fur detailing you’ve done with it. And the background is wonderfully snazzy! One of your best pieces to date I think.

Thank you sooo much! ^_^ It’s definitely my favorite so far, I have two other small galaxy peices planned with backgrounds done..now to hunt up some good subjects….hmmm

Did anyone else not receive the email with their person’s name?

We got both of ours. I’m starting mine today, and she just ordered hers. Laundry2011 is a tad late, but it will be done by the date! ^_^

I was just thinking if it’s lemon sized, that would be a lot bigger than other pebbles right? Maybe it should be a pyo then. Can you picture it beside other sculpts for size reference?

Good point. Someplace Melody says that it is a large lemon. On the other hand, on DeviantArt she says “This chicken is pretty small, about the size of a small potato.”

I’ve seen some tiny potatoes, i grow them, haha!

Could a votable poll be made maybe?

Could you do a print of Gazing Sentinel or Watching in 16×20? I’d be interested in those.

Sure, I could do either one! Just PM me, although I am not sure about the shipping cost to canada since it would be shipped flat with the matting. I could mail it in a tube I suppose and you could get it matted your self. Unmatted it measures 13 x 19 inches.

I have gotten some new copics to play with and I also have been doing many daily sketches and sticker designs. If you see anything you would like prints of that is not in my storenvy shop or etsy, let me know. I got my big printer going finally and can now do almost any size from 4 x 6 to 13 x 19 (matted to 16 x 20).

All my work comes from a smoke free home in north idaho. Always open for commissions. Except like July and December.

in reply to: How to fix a bent horn? #943802

I’m resurrecting this thread to see if anyone else has dealt with this since and had good results. I have a grand with a bent horn who will be on his way to me soon. I’m likely to try Jennifer’s method here, but I thought I’d see if anyone else had any input before I did! Thanks.

I only know how to replace broken tangs :/

Today I was checking in to my Etsy shop account, and I saw a featured listing of a Sitting dragon listed on another shop owners store:
    https://www.etsy.com/listing/232040781/mythical-dragon-statue-11-sculpture-home?ref=shop_home_active_18

It looks too much like Windstones Male Dragon/crossed with perhaps a Keeper PYO. I thought it would be a good idea to bring it to both the forum’s, and John’s attention.

What do you all think? …I think it is “suspicious”. …I hope I am wrong. 🙁

I think i vaugly remember seeing that same cast in candles and cement in the past. I’m pretty sure ive seen it on etsy once before. I would email john about it.

in reply to: The thread for Furries (and other cosplays) #943642

Do Jedi count? I’m about to start a generic Jedi General build with the end goal of joining the Rebel Legion. I haven’t even started the practice outer tunic and I feel way in over my head with the sewing, so I have no idea how you guys do it with the fursuits. I’d much rather sit with a soldering iron and do the lightsaber wiring tutorials I’ve read than sit at a sewing machine, but I have a pattern printed out and I just need to make the practice one out of muslin to work out kinks and then go to town with the cotton gauze I’ve picked out!

I’ll also have to do a little bit of armor building, but there are kits for that and it doesn’t scare me near as much as the sewing machine. I’m aware that I am bizarre.

Sure thats what “other cosplays” is 🙂

I absolutely loved the raptor. Did you make the tail for it too?

I did, thank you! I made all the ‘accessories’, with exception to the fantastic clothing on the raven. I can’t make tooled leatherwork!

Was it articulated? I tried to do an articulated tail for mine and failed miserably. I’m try to find somebody who I could commission for just the core articulation or to teach me how. It is absolutely beautiful!
