WOW!! That is a phenominal deal! Congrats! They seem to NEVER come up for sale!
This stunning fellow is the newest addition to my dragons
He is numbered and signed by Melody. I think he is a “FLAME OW”
but the pictures on Ravenheart look nothing like this guy…. He looks like a Violet Flame.

KLJA;SDF HVJNHDFKLJDS FJKDNKN ………..AND LJKASDLKFJDBN GJK!!!! OMG! SO pretty! What color are his eyes? Orange? Red? Melody didn’t write what color he is on the felt pad? Is he like #/24 or just a single “#5” or whatever? He looks like a Flame, but much more orangey. Im very jealous! Hes gorgeous! *drooool* My two favorite colors-purple and orange. Could I kindly beg you for some indoor/non direct sunlight pictures of him? WOW WOW WOW!
And to any developers listening, I would absolutely buy a COA Sketch book if one was made 😉
Me too!!
I absolutely love these sketches and was often tempted to pay more for something just to get the sketch >_<Agreed! Seeing what Melody sketched on there was just as fun as unboxing that awesome new Windstone for the first time 🙂 Too bad Windstone can’t/hasn’t scan(ned) the COAs before they were mailed out.
I just had to move my collection of over 100 pieces and man was that stressful! about 40 didnt have boxes, so I ended up wrapping them in thick blankets and towels, but I was only moving 10 miles away. Since you’re moving so far, me personally, I will say-make sure they are packed well! Maybe people can lend you their boxes? Or you can pack the ones without boxes as if you were going to mail them-very well! If they take up space-oh well. Better than them getting damaged or destroyed. :- I put all my Windstones in my own personal vehicle because I didnt trust the movers to move them or touch them. If you can do that, I would recommend it.
I also agree! That Golden Ball Python emperor dragon was amazing!
More like him on more dragons! 😀 Fledglings, laps, old warriors, rising/sitting spectrals, emperors….

June 28, 2012 at 8:12 pm in reply to: Does anyone know how many Bronze oriental sun dragons Melody and Olimpia painted? #882549Just be careful with your wording-there were also COPPER sun dragons painted by Olympia that look very similar-they too are a brown shiny color.
Oh my! She is very lovely! I especially like the black feathers on her wings. *grabby hands* You did a wonderful job!
The store batch will be called Ocelot griffins. They aren’t quite leopards, but still have markings and spots.
(**(^%$*()*#!!!! OMG MELODY YOU ROCK! *HUGS*!!!!
I am imagining them to be kind of orangey with teal eyes…I love the teal eyes, so anything that has them, I’m down for. I sold off all of my griffin mamma and babies, but would love to have a set in Ocelot. OMG *SQEEE
That is so awesome!! Congrats LadyFirebird! I’m so excited for you! Hopefully I’ll be close behind you in the graduating aspect 😉
Just my personal opinion, but things tend to become less valuable once a “test paint” has become production or limited production. People with Black Gold, Silver and Copper Patina prototype old warriors paid a lot for them (ESPECIALLY the black gold) and now they aren’t worth that much it seems. I had an offer to buy my copper patina old warrior until not a few days later, Windstone produced LP ones and the buyer retracted their offer. I paid over $500 for my Nyalah #2 male griffin, and then the “Wolf” griffins came to be-he had rosy cheeks but otherwise was just like the wolf griffins-I was lucky to get $300 including shipping for him. But, thats a bit off topic 😉
AWWW for a grab bag young unicorn? *puts on thinking cap* I never win stuff, but I’m going to try real hard!
Hearing this does make me cry. I didn’t know her well, but I remember reading when Melody did the charity auction old warrior for her, and reading Pam’s story. I am thankful she was around so long as she was. Im very sad to hear she has left us. :'(
