Oh my! She is very lovely! I especially like the black feathers on her wings. *grabby hands* You did a wonderful job!

Beautiful! Stunning! I love it. The rock is a nice touch, too.

What a GORGEOUS phoenix! And making the rock a chunk of turquoise really balances the whole look.

I second this, is she for sale?

Thank you all for the lovely comments! 🙂

              is she for sale?

No, this exact Phoenix is not for sale although I would have no problem with painting another one like her. I did this with my Snowflake dragon and I think the 2 persons who got them were pleased with the result.
PM me if you are interested.

It´s been a while since I finished Aywen. I´m really happy that you all liked her!

I´ve been busy meanwhile and here is my newest piece:
                    Kamuy, the Wolf
His name and colours are inspired by the flag, clothing and myths of the Ainu People in Japan.
What you don´t really see in the pics (beacuse of my crappy camera) are his iridiscent nose and toenails 🙂 Instead of antiquing him I experimented a bit with drybrushing and I think the effect on his fur is really nice.

So gorgeous..! All your work is incredible! And the meaning behind it is intriguing too.
