Oh I’d be understanding if they were saying that the reason my other two accounts were limited was BECAUSE of the negative, but the website and customer service is saying that they are limited because of something that happened last September. That something that happened last September has been taken care of.
They aren’t saying that the negative is what’s holding me back….but they are refusing to lift the limitations because they happened to see the negative. They need to lift my limitations or change their reason!Hannah-you are right! It’s a shame no one else has tried to stop the monopoly that paypal has on the online payment niche. They are a big iron fist eager to take your money (when you try to send it to someone, theres a fee) and have you play by their own rules or else you go home. Ebay is becomming that way.
*opens new can of worms* did you realize that now they require your buy it now price to be THIRTY PERCENT….30%…higher than your starting auction price?? For the longest time it was 10%…start the bidding at $100, or BIN for $110. Reasonable. Now if you want to sell a $100 item and pocket $100, you add 15%-20% for ebay and paypal fees so you can pocket what you want. So to pocket $100, you have to ask $110 or $120, with a BIN of $156…if your item is only worth $100, and you have to ask 50% more to break even?? ridiculous. To pocket $200 on my peacock old warrior, I have to put a BIN of $260!
I went to the store at 3:05 central (they went into the store at 1:00 PST right? They were gone. 10 minutes later, after refreshing, there were 2 left that had popped out of people’s carts. OH.MI.GAWD she is gorgeous! Susie, are these really as vibrant and colorful as they look on my computer? haha beautiful! Looks like I’ll have a few special pieces up for sale. One of the two is travelling to my house >.< I have a sentimental attachment to my BEP OW and matching lap dragon. BVP is close enough 😉

Wow! Ive never seen anything like that. We have cicadas here, but they don’t show up until June/July when its VERY hot. Living in Texas my whole life, and growing up with the sound of them buzzing in the summer, its like a soundtrack for the heat. I think the temperature would drop a few degrees if they stopped chirping (just kidding 😉 )
Yes an idea on price would be very helpful…even as far as “they will be between $150-$200 each” kind of thing…or “they will be more than $100”.
I’d LOVE to see some magic mushroom young unicorns…but I’d be afraid that due to the work and detail involved, they would be $250-$300 each and for a small piece, $250 is the up end of my budget for young unicorns. I was floored that Vesper went for $700 on ebay.
So to make them more affordable to more people…because Im sure Im not the only one who would want more than one young unicorn…something more basic like the fantasy batch would be good. I ADORE the young unicorns and am thrilled there will be more in the near future 🙂
Good luck! I collect the GG Santiago figures too and they are few and far between. I know there are a few others on here that collects them…they got me into collecting lol Maybe they would be of help.
I know (as Im sure you do too) they no longer make any of the Amberwood/GG Santiago pieces. I am always watching ebay for them. Check craigslist in your local area or check “pegasus statue” on ebay and maybe someone has one but doesnt know what its called
Wow…Drag0n I agree with you completely. When calling around trying to find old stock of retired pieces, I ran into a LOT of dealers who made these crazy claims and tried to talk to me like I was stupid when I corrected them.
There is/was a seller on ebay asking SUPER inflated prices for production pieces. $600 for a black gold lap dragon? I think not.
Beautiful! I really love that Palomino mother unicorn. She’s stunning 🙂 And all these brightly colored baby unis are adorable! Melody has really out done herself.

Actually repainting a Windstone is highly frowned upon if not illegal. John and Melody discourage Windstone repaints as they are worried about being able to tell a real Windstone artist’s paint job (such as Nam/Jennifer, Helen, Melody, PS and Jordan) from a repaint.

Yep. He’s blue flame #1 Painted by Melody and lives with me 🙂 I bought him from a forum member a few years ago. Without checking the COA, I think he was originally sold in 2010. So far he’s the only one, but since he’s marked as #1 and not OOAK, if Melody wants to paint more, she can.
