to the madness…North or South Jersey?
Sorry–I missed the question in all the commotion. 😉
Central NJ, actually. Near 6 Flags, Great Adventure.darjeb wrote:Just remember Windstones are addictive
Welcome from NJ. And I can second the addictive comment–when I joined a few weeks back, I had 4 pieces. Now, I’m up to 11 in house right now, with 3 more on the way……it’s kind of like the “potato chip factor” only better! (and less fattening, too) 😆
…everybody keeps mentioning? And while I’m asking, what is a beagle griffon? Are there photos of these things? Enquiring minds wanna know! 😉
Man, he sure is GORGEOUS! If dragons were *really* real, this color is what I’ve always imagined what they’d look like. 8)
Jennifer, how long does it take you to paint one of these once you have an idea in mind?
Ah. Thanks, Em.
Ya know….if these people have the brains to figure out ways to be bad, they ought to be able to do GOOD things as well. It’d take the same amount of energy.
I’d LOVE to have the kind of computer know-how it takes to do these things. But I’d rather use that for good things, not bad. *SIGH*
So what happens to the item that gets hacked? 👿Jennifer wrote:purpledragonclaw wrote:Jennifer wrote:The photos above are normal peacock dragons in some sort of weird lighting. I suspect incandescent.
The Blue Aurora Keeper PYO auction got hacked and pulled, but I got a screenshot of the bidder’s list (with intact names, not scrambled).
My goodness, it got hacked? I had no idea auctions got hacked so much! Are you just going to offer it to the second highest bidder?
It is in John’s hands. That is usually what happens.
Okay…time to show off my ignorance again. 😉 Hacked? Is this the same thing as being sniped? Or am I off base on this?

Ahh. I saw that and was wondering what the heck it was. Thanks, Kujacker!
When I got home from work today there 2 boxes on the porch. One was the Special Painted OW, and the other was the Hatching Em Pea.
They’re both gorgeous!! Whooo Hooo!! 😆
Pretty soon I’m gonna need a bigger shelf. Will try for pictures later. 😉Maebnus3 wrote:Okay, I’m thoroughly irritated at being sniped at the last second…
Boy, do I know how you feel. That’s happened to me the last couple of times I bid on something. And it literally *was* at the last second, too. grrrrrrr. 😡
So you’re not alone. 🙂Okay…I’m new here; what’re these fuzzies you guys are talking about? 😕
Kyrin
That last front toe that runs down the side of the tail was gone, from the main part of the foot to the claw.
Kyrin
Whoa!! 😯 There is no way I would’ve guessed that one. Wow! Impressive work, Kirin. I applaude your patience AND your talent!

I dunno…I think every photo I’ve seen so far of the Rainbows has been different. Some of them had very vivid, intense colors, and some have been more…not faded, exactly…but less intense on the colors. So am I just seeing things different, or it’s my monitor, or….?Oh, boy! Where do I start, where do I start?? 😯 😆

Out of curiousity, is there anything besides regular dusting (Housework!?!?!……NOOOOooooo) that needs to be done to these guys? I know from living in a house with forced hot air heat, my oak furniture needs to be treated once in a while with lemon or orange oil. Is that the case here, or is it just dusting?
Wow, you guys! Those are some great photos!
