Oh wow. How bad is it that I have no idea? Lots of my grab bags are signed.
I have two eBay items (a test paint mother griffin and TP Hatcher) and one item from the old “special” store section (a sitting koi-rin). The rest are production or grab bags.
Plus my Kickstarter items!I just saw those and came here to see if anyone had already asked. I’ve never seen them before but the presentation sure looks legitimate.
I posted my two side-by-side so you could compare. The neck scales are different, they have ridges on them in the new version. The wings aren’t smooth in the new ones. The wing scales on top used to be more like feathers but now they look more like scales. Just lots of little things. It’s neat to compare the two!
I’ve wanted a rainbow MK for a while, so when they went to “only 5 left in stock!” I grabbed one.
He’s beautiful! Doesn’t have much red on him though, which is great for me because I never liked their red noses.I also didn’t know they had changed since the grab bag. It’s interesting to compare the sculpt differences.
I finally got a koi mother! She is beautiful! So happy to have one of these, since I missed out on them when they came out. Now I want more, lol!
Reading through old posts and found this one. I…am really not sure how to answer this! Would I keep Bisbee, my baby uni that had a grand Windstone Factory Adventure? My very first hatcher (old green prototype)? The beautiful grab bag uni my husband bought me right before our daughter was born? Stained Glass, who was my grail piece for so long before she finally came home to me? Haiku, whom I never thought I’d have a chance to own? One of my Kickstarter Poads who are so beautiful? One of my koi kirins?
Ugh! This is really hard because I only keep pieces that I really, really love. But if I HAD to pick, it would probably be my zebra flower grab bag from right before our daughter was born. Stained Glass a close second.
