Thank you everyone. It’s definitely one of my favorite sculpts too! I can’t wait for them to come back in stock so I can do another one.
Might as well throw my hat into the ring. 😀

My rates all include the sculpture. (I live within driving distance of the Windstone factory, and shipping to me from there is pretty cheap, so there’s no reason I can think of to bother with having you purchase the sculpture first! If you do happen to have one already on hand, we can work something out, of course.)These prices are starting prices, and some designs may cost more. Please contact me for a specific quote.
Prices do not include shipping.

Materials used: Everything but the kitchen sink. If you have preferences, just tell me, I probably already have whatever it is on hand. (My particular, unique specialty, though, is watercolor.)
Are pet portraits offered: Yes, with the understanding that it will never be a perfect likeness.
Shipping method: Always doubled boxed, of course! (Packing peanuts, not newspaper.)
Shipping rates/insurance: USPS priority, actual postage charged. I can add insurance on request, but I don’t add it by default.
Payment plans: I am super willing to be flexible about payment plans. My “standard” payment plan is half up front, the other half plus shipping after completion.
Payment method: I prefer paypal, but I also accept check or money order.
Ships to: Anywhere.
Artist location: Oregon
Other comments: I’m not a mind reader, so be sure to lay out what you want in the clearest possible terms. If you are super-picky, you may find it useful to color a template for me, or provide other reference images, I am a visual person, so visual references work better than verbal descriptions.
I am sometimes blindingly fast, and sometimes super-super slow. If the urge to paint hits, I can get things done in mere days, otherwise they may take months. If you’re the sort who doesn’t like waiting, I’ll be happy to agree on a deadline, and I am generally fairly good about meeting deadlines.
If you’re interested in a trade, my signature has a list of what I’m currently looking for. I also enjoy doing PYO swaps, so if you’re an artist, hit me up.

Working on my first hippocampus. I decided a water horse should be done in watercolors! Haven’t done a watercolor piece in a while. Meowmix’s awesome blue roan had me wanting to try one myself, though I do not have the patience to be that detailed. (And watercolor isn’t really a good medium for it.) Anyhow, he’s very much a WIP at this point, but I thought I’d share a pic.
Merry Christmas, and thank you to everyone at Windstone for everything you do. (My hippocampus just arrived and ZOMG he is gorgeous!)
December 18, 2015 at 2:20 am in reply to: Status of Grab Bag Young Poads and PYO Hippocampus #938357Eeeeeeeeeee! I had to leave the house early this afternoon, and I checked before I went, but the hippocampuses weren’t up yet. I was just certain they’d go up and sell out before I could get back. But there were a few left, and I just snagged one. 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 Yay!
I seem to have an over abundance of chocolate at the moment
Can there be any such thing?
OK so… Susie wants to get these Young grab bag Poadsâ„¢ in the store before Christmas, so she can have the week after Christmas without a ton of work to do! I’m gonna take class pics now.
So heads up, well get them in soon!
( and hippocampusses too!)Yessssssssssssss! So excited for the hippocampuses. 😀
The rich blue color on this gal was really hard to photograph, but I tried! Natural light turned out to work best, though it was raining outside today, so I had to make do with a window sill. I may try again later and see if I can get something that looks better, but this gives a pretty good idea of how she looks.
(You can click for larger pics.)
I asked for something based on nature, and I couldn’t be more pleased to get a peacock foo mother. 😀
I finally got a good collection pic. My dragons all live in a lovely display cabinet, but it makes it hard to take photos, as you can see here. My PYOs (by me and by others) along with a spare baby dragon who got exiled with them, live in another nice display case. (Maybe I’ll take them all out and get PYO pics sometime, too.)
But anyhow, today I decided to pull them all out and take pics. (Moving the Secret Keeper feels scary. She is SO heavy, I’m always afraid I’ll drop her.) So here they are. You can click for larger pictures.
That is every single production and limited production fledgling ever. (At least as far as I know!) I was very, very lucky to be able to get some of them.
I’d like to also pick up a OOAK test paint or two to “complete” the collection, but that’s out of my budget at the moment. For now, I think it’s probably complete enough. 😀
Mine from siberakh1 just came. So pretty! And it came with chocolate, which is always delightful. 😀 I am heading out the door, but I will take and post some pics this evening.
I really, really like that color scheme, it is just stunning.
That hippocampus is amazing!
I also adore the phoenix, the colors are fantastic.
There have been a lot of great pieces in this swap! 😀
