Anyone know how long UPS Ground usually takes to ship? (Corvallis to ~midwest US, nothing too far or too tricky!)
I ordered my cougars on the 15th, and chose the UPS Ground option; I thought they’d be here by now, but I may be misremembering the estimated travel time (it says it next to each option when you choose one, but doesn’t say it on the invoice or on the order form under My Account -> Order History) and there’s no tracking number.
The 15th was a Friday, so I didn’t expect the order to go out till the 18th, but I thought UPS Ground’s estimated time was 2-3 days, so it ought to have arrived yesterday or today…?
I’m in Colorado, and it pretty consistently takes 4 business days (UPS doesn’t deliver on weekends unless you pay them to) once the item has been shipped.
I’m so very sorry to hear that you lost not just one horse, but two. 🙁

Love your phoenix Ciarnet!
Speaking of love, I got mine today & I’m head over heels for him! Skylover painted me an absolutely gorgeous blue jay kitty griffy!!!
And I hate it, cause I so want to show him off soooo badly, but I don’t have a way to post photos. 🙁
So Skylover, could you PLEASE post photos & show him off! Thank you so very much for my amazing kitty griffy!!
I’m so glad you love him! He was a fun little guy to paint! Here are a few pictures of him.
Welcome back!
I received mine earlier today! She is a stunning pearl/silver snow leopard with stunning blue eyes! I just love her! There aren’t too many that I would consider trading her for, but if anyone gets the king cheetah in the top right hand corner of picture 6 or the splotchy one in the bottom right hand corner of picture 4, I’d be interested.
Well, I didn’t expect to see the discussion that I did coming into this thread, and it’s opened a few old wounds…
I certainly have never had the funds to win a lot of ebay auctions, but I can understand from personal experience how it feels to 1) have someone come on the forum and rant about not winning a piece on ebay that I had won and have other forum members support them in said rant and 2) have someone actually admit on the forum that they had driven up the price on a piece that I had won because they had bought a similar piece for a higher price and didn’t think the piece should be at a lower price. It’s hurtful to see this stuff posted openly on the forum, and it’s the main reason that while I show pictures of my grab bags in order to gauge interest for trading, I will rarely, if ever, show pictures of my collection, particularly the ebay pieces.
Trust me guys, I share your frustration with not getting pieces that you desire. I’ve got my grail pieces too (Labradorite griffins), and I’ve lost the bid every time one has shown up for sale second hand. But, I will never begrudge their new owners (they ARE really nice peices coveted by MANY people), and I think we really need to be civil here. As mentioned by others already, you do not know the situation of the person winning the pieces or what the pieces actually mean to them personally. You also don’t know if they are members of the forum or frequently visit the forum.
Please understand that I’m not trying to offend anyone, but I do want to provide insight as someone who has been on the other side. I hope that we as a community can get to the point where, even though we are frustrated when we lose, we can congratulate and be positive towards the people who win these pieces.
Yes. The earliest batches of emerald peacock dragons had the bright “intense” violet. The color changed soon after it was released and bright violet color was replaced with a bluish-purple color.
