Glacier Curled Dragons are still opening their eyes (or “eye”) – they’ll be ready pretty soon.

Any idea on how soon is pretty soon?

So the only ones you ever designed for outside use are now no longer going to be able to be outside? Can I just say how very very unhappy I am with this decision?

        Kyrin

Yep, I am not so happy about it either, but we no longer have space ( or extra crew) to have a separate cement line!

On the other hand shipping a concrete sculpt undoubtedly costs a lot more than gypsum?

          Holey Moley what a day!

First things first – good news about your debit card and your money. OK, so you wait until Monday. At least the money’s there.

As for the rest, I think it smells of a scam! You are not bad, guilty, selfish, or any of these other things. You are SMART. Cancel the transaction.

You gotta protect yourself. ‘member if it looks like a fish and smells like a fish…..

          Take care.

I think two of the dragons are in the blog now *nods* so I guess there is also a third?

Sounds like there’s a baby that’s older than the hatcher and younger than the new “young sitting/juvenile/companion/etc” dragon!

Yup, there’s the new hatcher, that I didn’t refer to, + these three that Melody referred to here – small sitting (for possbile grab bag purposes), sitting young, and baby. So, 4 new small(er) dragons in all.

I’ve only seen the one that we’re trying to name, which I think is the sitting young (?) in the blog to compare it with the Young dragon and the new hatcher in Melody’s blog.

That’s the problem with daycare – all thses kids running around!

I know we will get pictures of all of them, it’s just my curiosity getting the better of me.

Things REALLY in the works right now:
small sitting drago (nmaybe a grab bag dragon)

              finished or very nearly finished:
sitting young dragon – (about the size of the young dragon)
baby dragon -(looks just like the fledgeling but younger)

              So many little ones!

I’m sorry to bug you, Melody, but can we get a peek at these different dragons? It’s a bit confusing – small sitting, sitting young, and baby.

              Thank you!

If anyone has one of the fuzzies and doesn’t know where to send him next, please PM me and I’d be happy to give a hotel room for a couple of nights as well as a tour of our local attractions.

Do they normally live together like this, or do you have them mixed in with your other sculpts?

*Blushes!* Thanks. Seems Emperors take the worst of it nearly every time. I think I posted pictures of Pixie’s poor Emerald Emperor.

This Album shows the pieces he started in, & finished result. This should make you feel much better about your Brown too.

when Melody posts the raffle – in the blog section, you just send her an email. The best thing to do is to look in the blog section – Community button, then Blog. and look at July’s. there’s lots of info there.

This is a work in progress and all your input is really helpful. The store was a mess and, with all the “out of stock” items in the different categories, a new customer arriving for the first time would think we were selling out and closing up, or something to that effect.

So, I decided to, first, clean out the retired and least likely to be produced soon pieces and then figure out how, exactly, to arrange it later. Asking who would like to see an item re-stocked is a good idea for those things that are in the “maybe we will make some more” category. I left some “out of stock” items in the store that I consider to be a more solid part of the regular line, but it’s a pretty subjective call at this point.

We may be combining a few of the sparsely populated categories as well. And we will create a retired category so the pieces still display for identification purposes.

Ohh just saw the new store home page and wonder if “retired” means never to be made again.
Out of stock means that it could/maybe/possible/hopefully be made again?

I agree with the others, he is in much better condition than we expected. I would absolutely NOT return him to the seller.

Revising my price estimate: I would pay 100-200 for a brown emp in that shape, since it doesnt look like very much resculpting will be required (just a lot of gluing and filling in cracks).

If the seller could not figure out how to position the cardboard, why in heavens name did they not ASK YOU about it?? Rrrraaaarrg! *sigh* Didn’t that mean anything to them that you actually took the time to send them packing materials for it? How many buyers ever do that? Probably just Windstone buyers I would imagine. Some people simply do not understand how rough the post/UPS can be, and how terribly fragile Windstones are. They must imagine that boxes are carefully handed onto or off of trucks, and not chucked every which way. I guess we need to add this to the list of things to do when you buy a windstone. Even if you send them a box, MAKE SURE they know how to use it! (no matter how self explanatory it may seem)

I have gone so far as to include pictures of how to pack an item into a box. Including how to align the two cardboard halves.

All you need to do is go into your Windstone account and check the box that asks if you want to be notified by email whenever you get a PM. It’s very obvious when you get a new PM because it shows up in your email inbox.
