*whistles* –I just checked out Ebay and boy-o-boy! I can’t get over how much the “Eggplant” color has evolved since it’s first appearance some time ago! Although I wasn’t too fond of the first Fledgling in this color scheme, this second one makes my heart skip a beat! 🙂 It actually reminds me of the beginning of autumn when the leaves juuuust start changing colors! I think he’s absolutely beautiful!

Ooooo! I love this idea! I’m always automatically signed into Windstone (and I rarely check my e-mail account), so if I ever get a random message from someone on here, it usually takes me a really long time to notice!

Although I’m trying to get into the habit of checking my inbox here at least once or twice a day, I still think that by adding an instant notification for our PMs would be so conveniently wonderful for everyone! 🙂

There is hope yet, Eleu! There’s going to be more available tomorrow so you’ll have another chance to get one! -And although they were released at 3:00 (Pacific time), I noticed that there were still some popping out of carts about 3 hours later! So they lasted a little while before they were officially sold out!

Because I fell in love with the Copper and Indigo Royal Hatchers, I ended up having a dream last night about how Windstone started coming out with more fish colored Royal Hatchers –only they were coming out of seashell-inspired eggs. Sure, it was a dream, but they were so beautiful! So… that will be my new squeak!

“Tropical Fish” Hatching Dragons coming out of colorful “seashell” eggs! 🙂

!!!Mermaids!!! (I’m such a sucker for them!) 🙂 With your beautiful artwork style, I know it’s going to be amazing when it’s all finished!

This whole situation just breaks my heart, (ESPECIALLY because it had to happen to such a rare Windstone) 😥

Her story does sound incredibly fishy… and a bit farfetched. It just doesn’t make any sense on why she wouldn’t contact you if she did in fact receive the box opened and missing an insert. I would think something like that would be considered major because NO package should arrive at your home opened and tampered with. If something like that happens, it’s just common sense to contact the shipping company about it as well as the original shipper.

To be honest, I wouldn’t be surprised it Maplecarver was right about the seller choosing to leave an insert out simply because she couldn’t figure out how to reassemble the box properly and then made up a story once she found out he was broken. That would make a lot more sense than the box arriving open and tampered with without her questioning it.

I wish more than anything that you can get a major refund on him so you can at least get him restored back to his beautiful self again. After all the years he’s been around, he certainly deserves a second chance!

*Sigh* I love rainbow dragons. I hope that the ones that aren’t retired yet can come back -even if it’s for one more time!

in reply to: Wild Fires #884095

🙁 That’s terrible! I hope these fires get under control as soon as possible! For the time being, I will certainly keep you (and your family) in my thoughts and prayers to keep you safe!

I’m glad we could help you out!
(I know how tricky it can be to find some of these old posts!)

-After a while of searching, I finally just went to your profile, clicked on “Track”, and just started looking through the pages for any post that caught my eye. And luckily, this was one of them! So I’m happy that the page still exists and that you’re able to see it again!

He’s BeAuTiFuL!!! Thank you so much for posting his pictures, Bullsquid!

I really would love to have a Gold OW, but I can’t decide if I should just get one from the store (which probably has a lot more violet) or if I should try to “hunt down” an older one that has just a “touch” of violet. -In my eyes, yours is absolutely perfect! 🙂

in reply to: I heard you're painting some pegasus…. #884054

Is it possible to set up a poll on which (reasonable) colors we’d like to see on the Pegasus the most?

in reply to: help finding topic? #884052

After searching for a while, I think I might have found it! (*crosses fingers*!)

Hiya Ms Melody :hi: I was wondering if you will ever consider making another form of browns, perhaps dark browns,as a new production color one day?The old browns like this one are some the best you’ve ever done…in my humble opinion 🙂 I love mine. This is one of your older ones, stamped and is still looking good 🙂

Probably not for production, since stores seem to do better with bright colors , but for a limited color , almost anything can happen! (My mom might of decorated that one, she did that with us when we first started Windstone. The double row of head spots is indicative.)

    …..

Your Mom?That’s cool.I did notice sutdle differences in my males.I have another old one with the “frowning”eyes w/pad and they are slightly different in stain and detail.Nice to know, thanks.I will look forward to the browns in any shades.I like them all.I LOVE the O.W. you did recently. He’s a pretty thing.Hope you do a few more of them squeek* 😉

That’s crazy! Based off of the final photos, I would have NEVER thought that she had ever been broken! -That’s seriously incredible!
