I love the blue tiger! XD Wouldn’t he be a cool PYO paint scheme to try! Perhaps with silver stripes?

https://www.redbubble.com/people/prezaurian?ref=artist_title_nameLol, call me selfish…but I hope it’s not a pink unicorn! Though pink anything else would be awesome. 😉

https://www.redbubble.com/people/prezaurian?ref=artist_title_nameAre we talking THE 60s with this whole psychedelic mushrooms theme? What with the swirls and the bizarre pastel colors? Tie dye and the lot? I’ll admit, it’s different. Not something I would necessarily think of to do on my own. Outside the comfort zone and all that. Hm…. I’d be willing to take a shot at it. I wanted to join the next swap regardless (I was too busy working on something else during the last swap to join) so this sounds like an interesting challenge. Plus, I just finished what I was currently working on so my plate is empty (as long as I ignore the cache of unpainted Windstones in my closet ^_^;…heh heh heh).

https://www.redbubble.com/people/prezaurian?ref=artist_title_nameI think I would prefer fire opal. Though I imagine any opal coloration would be tricky to pull off…. Wait, Madagascar green opal wouldn’t be hard to do. But it’s not a particularly um, pretty stone. Just looking at it you wonder why it’s called opal at all. ^_^;

https://www.redbubble.com/people/prezaurian?ref=artist_title_name96037, Thank you! I use Corel Painter 12 to arrange my photos and to edit them. For me it’s most convenient because I already had it. I’m not sure how it compares to other programs though.
Stormbreeze & Kim, -blush- Thanks so much! Well, as long as nobody picks her up she’ll be up for sale. I love her the way she turned out, but she is destined for a new home someday. 🙂 And thank you for taking a look!
Ela_Hara, I use Elmer’s traditional white glue. For these really tiny crystals I do the following. I squeeze a bit of glue onto a painter palette and use a toothpick tip to dab a bit of glue into the depression I want the crystal in. Then I use jewelry tweezers to pick up and place the crystals. If they’re laying a little tilted, I gently tap them level with the flat of the tweezers. When I’m done I wash the glue off the palette. Also, there are two types of backing on crystals. Flat back and pointed back. Pointed back is what I use for the unicorn (they nestle perfectly into the mane/tail’s nooks and crannies). Flat backs are better for flat surfaces.
dragonmedley, Me too! Swirls for the win! And oh gosh yes! This sculpts’ texture is just wonderful for this kind of pattern work! Just a pleasure to work with!

https://www.redbubble.com/people/prezaurian?ref=artist_title_name‘Pink Gothica’
This gal is my latest paint job. She was inspired by the forum discussion on possible color schemes that might look good on silver horned unicorns. This color scheme wasn’t chosen, but it was interesting enough for me to try it out. Her pattern is inspired by gothic style lace. She’s painted in metallic & flat acrylics, Spaz Stix paint and varnished in satin clear coat. Her mane & tail contain several (~30+) fuchsia hot pink swarovski crystals. Eyes are the light yellow supplied by Windstone Editions. I’ve also marked her felt pad clearly with her name and my signature.
If anyone is interested, she will be put up for sale in the Classfied section here. Regardless, I hope you enjoyed looking! 😀
