🙂 Another 21ster, eh mashubert? April seems to be a popular month for b-days. Especially the 21st! I knew someone else who had that exact same birthday too! Which worked for him because he was terrible at remembering other people's birthdays. 😛

🙂 Thanks so much! I think my most popular paint job has been the foo dog family! They just really struck a chord with a lot of people. I really need to work on an alternate color scheme of that design. I’m thinking more wintry colors for a Father Foo to go with my original Mother Foo.
But first the griffity I’m going to work on next. Gotta test out a metallic red paint pigment I bought. 😀

Thanks so much! I wasn’t sure about them for awhile, but once I got used to how the color shift paint looks I really liked how it looked paired with the regular acrylic paint.
I think that’s a super cool color scheme!

I hear through the grape vine that there will be some unicorn grab bags coming to us soon. I have been unemployed for a while now but just landed a job which I start mid May. I will be interested in buying one of the young and babies when they come out but wont be able to afford the price up front. If you end up buying one with the purpose of re-selling and do not mind short term payments, please keep me in mind. I will pay more than store price for the opportunity. I also have an excellent buyer/seller record. 🙂

Your grasp on realistic shading is just amazing. 🙂 I especially envy your ability to paint the eyes. His primary feathers, falling leaf spots and forehead crest are done in a red, orange, gold, green shift. His secondary feathers are done in a gold/green shift.
The color shift paint is fascinating to use and in fact their shifting nature partially inspired his color scheme. And in no small way contributed to his name. 😉

However, when I look at the original Forum window it appears that the comment has not yet gone through. Blah. 😛
Augh, this! -laughs- And I dare not touch anything until it posts. Sometimes this lag seems to create one of the infamous double posts.
I think this is most frustrating when I’m trying to log in. Just waiting for it to register that I’m actually online is a bit tedious.

Also, I’m so glad it’s fairly easy to trade for Pokemon online! On X I would trade all the time on Tumblr for shiny Pokemon, I have no patience to breed or hunt for shinies so looking for shiny giveaways on Tumblr was fairly easy.
Oh wow, I just totally forgot about the online trading function! Derp, derp! I think because my DS lite could NOT hook up to my home wifi I just gave up. I keep forgetting that my 3DS has no problem hooking up to my home network. Perhaps when the game comes out people who are interested here could swap friend codes! 😀 I’d be up for that!
