^I just saw those! I especially love the Star Trek one and the “oh look! Kitty!” officer! That would so be me…

Oh man… this crap is exactly why I never liked ebay. I can’t believe he has the nerve to throw that accusation at you, AND to yell at you (typing some of it in all caps). What a jerk! Give him the lowest level of negative feedback you can, with a comment about what happened so others can see.
And yeah, what I’d probably do is try selling it for the amount you got it for plus the shipping so you hopefully won’t be out any money. Then again it might make a stronger statement if you do return it to him (and you have no guarantee someone will buy it for that much), but… it’s up to you.

Yes, I’d definitely message the seller. The “No cracks or missing paint at all!” was WRONG!

I haven’t fallen in love with any of the tie dyes until this coiled mother one. I find she looks really good in that scheme for some reason! I’ve been wanting a coiled mother, too, and it would be my first test paint piece! This is sooooo tempting to bid on, but I ought to be careful about throwing money out there since I’m having a PYO done for me right now… Plus there’s a Windstone hatching dinosaur also on e-bay right now which is somewhat cheaper (currently) and which would make a nice companion to my hatching protoceratops…

Before I discovered this forum and the wider world of Windstones, I was proud of the fact that I wasn’t addicted to or overly tempted with any kind of shopping… oh Windstone, what have you done to me?

Hehe! Amusing thread! When I saw it, I thought, “What the heck? Can that really be?” LOL
Thankfully my cats don’t have fleas anyway, since they’re solely indoors, so even if fleas liked Windstones, mine would be pretty safe I think… 😉

I love the stories so even though it’s old, if there are some of you who haven’t read the postings on here yet, now you can too and post your own!

It IS nice to discover this thread and the old stories; we do have a newer thread now though called “Enter the World of Windstone” (if I remember the title correctly) where we’ve been sharing our stories of discovering and falling in love with Windstones!

As for why I love ’em? As many have said, they’re simply beautiful. They really add something nice to my home and I enjoy walking into my living room and seeing them. I absolutely love dragons and I really only collect the dragons from Windstone(I have a whopping 2 non-dragon Windstones), but I enjoy seeing the other things on here, too.

Your post made me cry, too, Stephanie. I know well what it’s like to lose a beloved pet. I wish so much that they’d never have to leave us. Supai was blessed to have parents that loved and cared for her as you & your husband did!

^Really hoping the best for you, Falcolf! Your persistence has to pay off one of these days!

I think I got it all cleaned up

The tomato sauce didn’t stain? :~ Glad that the meatballs were the only casualty, and that some were able to soldier on to the potluck despite losing their comrades.

Not my kind of thing to buy but that’s awesome- I’m happy for you! How great that you turned out to like it so much, and for good reasons. I have a friend who sells Mary Kay and really loves it. She never shuts up about it on Facebook, in fact. Lol!

After six months of planning, practice, and sacking out, my horse Charface is, as of today, a real archery horse! I shot from her back for the first time today, and it didn’t bother her one bit! She did so well we even did a few barrel formations while shooting!

Awesome! It’s great your work paid off. I’ve done plenty of horse riding and archery, but never together!

Poads in cleavage? Sounds like I missed some interesting times.

                              Very nice pieces.

Also found it humorous that a poad pooped out a stretchy marble.

Looks like he had the poop scared out of him by that satyr with the club!

Congrats! That’s great! And I’ll echo the others who’ve said nothing is wrong with meeting online- that’s how my husband and I met, in 2005! (Although it wasn’t through a dating site, just chatting in a car chatroom.) And we lived quite a bit more than 20 minutes apart.
                                Congrats again

^Yes, I actually used a different free program called Gimp, but you should already have Paint on your computer. Right click the picture you want to use and go to “Open with… Paint”
Then once it’s open in the Paint program, go to the side toolbar that has a bunch of things you can click on and click on the “A” which means text. It will let you choose the font size and color there in the toolbar, and then you can click where on the picture you want the words to be, and type. 😉

If you still have trouble, Googling “Microsoft Paint tutorial” might provide you with some help.
