Just a word to say how amazed I am at the collections in this thread. Wow.
I’ve no duplicate sculpts in my collection yet…but I suspect that will change in the future when I buy more of the PYO hippocampus. I’m so in love with that piece and I’m looking forward to trying different paint jobs on it.

There are some really lovely collections – and congas – in the homes of forum members, aren’t there! (My two congas hardly compare to some of the others posted here, but here’s hoping for one day…)

PYO congas are a great way to start out a conga! I don’t have a PYO conga yet, but I’m just one away from it (the fourth is half painted! I need to buckle down) and I can hardly wait to post photos when I reach that stage, so you definitely ought to share some hippocampus conga line pics when you get there! (Hippo-conga pics?)

My gosh, I can’t believe I haven’t commented before now. Really nice work! I especially like the griffity’s and the white and gold dragon. The dragon looks quite elegant and the griffity’s are adorable!

Blue point is my favorite color of Siamese! I love how soft and elegant your Kittygriff looks, plus how can anyone not love that KittyGriff grin? 🙂

KittyGriffs do have the best grins! I’m really pleased with my photo with both of them; they look like they’re grinning at each other. (“Next time, *I* will open the food cabinet and *you* will distract the human!”)

I’m not quite satisfied with the coloration on this guy. It’s not close enough to its feline counterpart; it’s definitely a very grey grey, much more like a goshawk’s feathers than a Siamese’s points. I don’t think the colors on his wings blended nearly as well as his brother’s colors did, either. Now I’m really hoping Melody will release another Kitty Griffin sculpt, so that I can revisit this color scheme with hopefully better results!

Okay, wow, these are all gorgeous, but Moonlight Surf is my favorite – I *love* the wavy-edged white facial marking! It looks like a streak of moonlight on water; it’s perfect!

Hm! So that’s a Fledgie (sometimes it’s a little difficult to tell the difference between a baby and a fledgie)! Depending on the eye color in the eBay pics you might have a little competition for him Jynxx. 😉 We shall see.

Medium or metallic blue, I’m in. Yellow…nope! I’m with you on that! Light orange might be nice. But still would like a green or blue-green/green-blue the best.

I’m the opposite: if it’s blue eyes, I’m out! It’s one reason I skipped the last purple Lap Dragon, despite yearning for a Lap with a purple scheme; the blue eyes just didn’t appeal at all.

I vote for lime-green, yellow, metallic tan/gold/orange, or (!!!!)dichroic eyes!

I’m abstaining from the vote, because I am not a chicken person so I wouldn’t buy a chicken PYO or a chicken Pebble. (If I were to vote, I’d say PYO, because I feel like a Pebble chicken that dwarfs the Pebble wolf is kind of silly… but hey, the fox is at least as big as the wolf, so it’s not as if they’re to a specific scale…)

Wow, I really love that color scheme on the Ebay cart that looks like Barn Swallow! (Is it really Barn Swallow? I thought it looked greener than I remember the Swallow pieces being, but it’s been a while so I could be wrong!)

I really love the Lavender Rose color (and am sad that I didn’t win the Lap!)… but was secretly hoping it’d be a “your choice of these eye colors” type deal. Maybe next time, if there’s enough demand for Lavender Rose to paint more? 😀

I’m always keeping my ear to the ground to see what people want to see more of, if people seem to love any of the schemes I do I’m always happy to oblige!

I’m still completely in love with that gorgeous unnamed purple dragon that was featured in a member’s photos of visiting the Windstone factory, too! That may be *the* most attractive purple dragon I’ve ever seen, though it’s close call. 🙂 Has anybody figured out how to recreate it, or close? It was awesome! Lavender Rose reminded me of it, but I really ought to pull up the photo and do a side-by-side comparison.

(Not quite your area, but on the subject of purples, I’m still hoping for Lavender Pearl on Lap Dragons as LPs, too… It’s one of the few sculpts that haven’t had a Lavender Pearl run yet.)
