I can’t afford one right now, but I really liked Sandgrouse on this sculpt! Would love to see some more bird-y color schemes in the future along the same lines; maybe a quail or sandpiper inspired scheme? Or prairie chicken? Or a peahen, mostly earthy with flashes of bronze?

Oooh, or perhaps some snake colors – copperhead (look at those beautiful colors, and these!), or how about some of these really pretty Ball Python color morphs?

Oh! Yes, I should probably have specified, sorry! I was going by the versions that are listed in the Store for the griffins:

The darker version looks more bronze than copper, to me (but the more I look at it, the more it grows on me). The only Store photo of a Lap in CP looks more like the dark “version 2” Griffin:

I’d love to see the brighter CP on a Lap! (It wouldn’t even have to be as extreme as the difference in Griffins; maybe just a bit brighter than the batch that this photo came from?)

Thanks for letting us Copper fans bend your ear, Melody! You guys generally save up ‘slightly defective’ castings before painting Copper Patina pieces, right? So I can see why it would take a while to get enough for a reasonably-sized batch! Consider this thread the “how big should the next batch be?” count-off. 😀

I have some new squeaks, after seeing all the beautiful things lately!

#1 – Sitting Red Foxes in ‘simple’ color shift (no purple points). I’m just not loving the two-tone look, so I’m really hoping that once they’re gone there might be a new option with plain old color shift options like the Cougars got! (I wouldn’t actually mind if they had black ‘makeup’ like some of the Cougars got, though I love my plain Cougars and would definitely love plain foxes!)

#2 – A restock of the Sitting Red Foxes in Smoke! I adore this color, and am so sad that I missed it. 🙁

#3 – Copper Patina Lap Dragons with teal eyes, in a bright copper version like the “Version 1” Griffins! (Or, if Melody just happens to feel like sending everybody cross-eyed by stacking the to-do list, both the dark and the light versions??)

#4 – A restock of Pebble Fennecs & Bat-Ears in the ‘production’ colors (ivory, tan, natural) or in new production colors! (I really love the Smoke that came out on the Sitting Red Foxes; it would be pretty on other fox sculpts, too! As would the Silver Sparkle.)

#5 – More Sitting Red Foxes in grab bag options! I’d especially like to see a restock of the ‘natural’ grab bag, but would also just curl up and die of glee if a silhouette GB were to happen! (This is a “delayed squeak,” if there is such a thing! I can’t actually afford it right now, but maybe sometime in 2017?)

#6 – Moon Orientals in Peacock! (Again, I’d be happier if it happened next year/not immediately, but I do really want to complete my Oriental family at some point!)

#7 – An updated eye/gem color chart for the PYO page, showing all the pretty new options, because I always forget what else is available when I’m drooling over PYOs and planning paint schemes?

If I think of any more, I’ll try to remember to edit this post. 🙂

Honestly, I don’t know; the laptop belongs to me, but the desktop belongs to my parents, so I’m not 100% sure of its specs. If anything, though, it’s probably a *newer*, not older, version than my laptop runs. The laptop runs Windows 7 Pro, the desktop probably runs either Win7 (non-Pro) or ???? Definitely not Win8.

Oh, and I should perhaps note that the browser on my laptop is set NOT to remember anything after the browsing window is closed, so I’m sure it’s not a cache thing of the “the site remembered your verification because it was done on the computer you usually use” variety – in fact, every time I log in the forums think it’s the first time and try to give me tips. 🙂 So it can’t be an actual email verification issue, as far as I can see!

Just adding my voice to the chorus here – I’ve been dying for a Lap in CP that’s the brighter version (like the ‘version 1’ female griffin shows, in the store) with teal eyes! Maybe as a New Year offering, rather than right this instant?

I’m just saying, if I get money for Christmas, a January release of bright CP Laps would ensure that I don’t squander it on something pointless like clothes or food! 😀
