I’m sorry Natasha, that’s an awful situation. Thoughts and prayers with you all.🤗🙏❤❤❤❤❤
Well I wanted at least one Desert Opal and this guy went for within my budget so I grabbed him. Just glows in the curio in low light, so beautiful! For now the conga is complete, unless maybe a good deal or a grail pops up. 😉😁
Will put shadowy curio pics up next so you can see Desert Opal vs brighter colors.
Well they do warn there can be variations. I noticed the emerald peacock bantam I got was missing the gold tail tip that’s in the pic. And my old secondhand grey wolf griffin male has brown on his ears not the normal black. That’s a hazard of hand painted works! But it adds to the charm. 🤷♀️😁
Honestly I like the griffin more this way tho now its not as easy to find a matching mate.
Feel better soon, Melody! ❤
I’m pretty sure it pops for the dragons too, though you wouldn’t think so for those browns. It looks similar to the sand tiger bantams I have except no stripes and a bit more blue areas (with more color added to the blue). You’d be amazed at how they are so visible in varying levels of lighting whereas the colorful ones are more difficult to see and enjoy unless well lit. They virtually pop against any background, the pearly brown works kinda like on an old white but gives it a bit more emphasis on the dragon’s details. And a decorative item that shows in most kinds of lighting is easier to show in more places. You get them to see them after all! And if you want proof how good this look is in person, look how popular sand tigers have become!
That being said, that makes it hard for most people to get one, there’s not many, they’re high price now. I’m hoping that a production line of these can be made even if for a limited time because that’ll allow more access for many who can’t otherwise get a sand tiger to get something that pops with equal glory!
Congrats! That’s awesome that your luck is so much better now! And congrats on the amazing secret keeper!
Lovely peppermint male! And a cat wizard like the green is my fiance’s grail.
The green lightning is the green and silver with red eyes. He is fiance’s, as is the spring green and gold.
Sounds like much sadness this month. Im sorry to hear about lost family be it furry or human. Sending mental hugs and good vibes!
A former colleague and friend (let’s call her S) just got the diagnosis of the big C. She’s a phenomenal person and advocate for pet rescues (and people, she’s an outstandong OT), and just starting her fight so I ask please add her to your prayers.
Seeking a few bantam grails still, just now I know which numbers they are, lol. I’m not sure if these all have clones tho.
For myself:
172 (or 171 is similar, but I’d take a clone of either too)
121 (maybe a clone if it’s similar enough)
24 and 145 (or their clones) would be cool too.
Any sand or rainbow tigers are also always eagerly loved! For fiancee:
151 (or clone)
154 (or clone)
1 (or clone)Of course any and all bantams are very much welcome to join the conga, and we will offer fair pricing for them if you are willing to let them. To me each of these guys is absolutely beautiful like individual gems, even the production ones!
