I am very excited for the Pebble Dragons! I saw their picture up on Melodys Instagram. I cant wait to see what they look like all painted up. I would imagine that they would be about the same size as the mini secret keepers. If I recall, I believe the mini secret keepers were actually meant to be a Pebble Dragon..? Any new small Dragons are exciting additions!
Bodine.. I keep trying my hardest to win the lottery. When I do, I’ll get us matching Secret Keepers!What about little pebble gargoyles.. pebgoyles lol. If it wasn’t to much, I think a little pebble sculpt of a gargoyle to paint as a pyo and a grab bag would be amazing! Just cause they aren’t popular now.. doesn’t mean they cant make a come back.. they have only been around for several centuries lol.
Yay I mailed out my piece today! Normally not one to be late… and this is super late lol. I am back on track yay! I am such an anomaly with my doctors.. just turned 41 and having a heart condition since 31 lol. I have to laugh at it a bit cause what else can you do. Having heart failure in life… check that off the to do list! Though I recommend everyone else on here skip that one in their life. 🙂
Enough on that rant.. this is about the beautiful PYO’s. I received mine last week. His name is Bonsai and he is from Bipolarbear. He is a Kirin.. my first one ever. He brightened up my day! I will show a picture of him soon. He is busy hard at work watching over my indoor tropical plants at the moment. I think he has a green thumb.. or in his case a green hoof as all my plants have decided to have a super growth.
Everyone has received such beautiful pieces! I was so nervous painting my piece.. it was a learning experience for sure. But I enjoyed seeing the piece come to life. I cant talk about it more until he arrives at his home.. lets just say he is feisty and a tad devilish lol.
Bonsai will have a photo shoot this weekend.. he is cute and I love him. Cant wait to share him with you guys!
Grab bag Foo Puppies would be amazing as well! Great suggest Erin! I am in for those or grab bag Pebble Dragons! I have two mini secret keepers and I adore them!
Oh my gosh I love, Love, LOVE gargoyles! I have three large cement ones that have been passed down through my family and now are living with me. They are stone.. heavy as heck as they should be and now guard my balcony! I should take a picture of them and post it. I saw some of the ones that were from Windstone.. and I love them. It would be nice to see them return.. and new additions. I don’t have any indoor ones in my house to chase away bugs that sneak in 🙂 The ones that reside with me are named Henri, George and Fredrick. George lived with my mom watching over her garden. When my mom passed away, George came here with me and continues his guard duty along with the other two gargoyles. They are comforting to be around! Please bring back the Gargoyles.. even if it is a small batch to see how will they will sell!
I ordered a Kirin as soon as I could and I am now awaiting for my little guy to arrive in the mail!
I don’t mean to sound like a grump on here, but I am a bit confused about some of the frustration of the pricing of the Kirins. While some think that their price is high, I think it is fair to remember that these are one of a kind, hand painted pieces of art from an artist. I couldn’t imagine going in to art store and telling the dealer that a one of kind, original hand painted picture be to pricey, and suggest that the artist paint a few simple lines instead of a detailed landscape so I could have it a price that worked for me.I hope that people realize how much time, care and attention it has taken by Melody to paint each piece. I understand that some want more affordable pieces, but again these are original art pieces, not massed produced collectibles made in a factory. To be honest I sometimes think Melody sells some of her Grab bags at a lower price than she should. Look at the amazing detail of the Silhouette Poads that came out last Fall. I think they could have listed higher.
Wow!!! Gold Appolossas already sold out on the day of release. I missed out on getting one.. I wonder if another batch will appear before the end of the year? Also would you guys consider putting a limit on the small batch items.. even if it is for a couple of days.. to allow everyone a chance at the small batch items?
Everyone has such great names! Bodine.. I love hide and seek.. they are perfect names for them.. it looks like that is what they are doing! Super cute

I have to agree I think the blue tadpoad you have Bodine.. is the prettiest one I have seen.. aside from the one I have of course lol..
