I took SUCH an awesome picture last night as one of my entries….. but it looks way better in portrait orientation. I was about 30-50 mini-bean Poads too short to realize my vision in landscape orientation. I can’t wait for the calendar to come out so I can post my pic. The Emperor does wear it well but I’m kind of sad the color doesn’t extend down the rest of the spine. For some reason on that particular sculpt it looks unfinished.
I wonder why no color carried down the tail. It reminds me of that one Orion hoofer that seemed to be missing its stripes!

These cases are not stackable, nor lit. Their clarity is better than other companies that sell display cases, as is the mirror back. Because the case is a flat base plate and a 5-sided cube, it should be the best way to keep stuff dust-free (aside from cases with a foam ring around a door with a tightening hinge). Somehow I still find dog furs sneaking in the cases. Damn dogs shedding everywhere.

The spectral is the same general size as the male dragon. A little more bulky, but not as detailed in the scales. I like the bigger smooth scales of the spectral for showing off color and reflecting light. I did not get the pastel rainbow in the male dragon because I felt he had too many crevices and would get too much antiquing that would cover up the colors.
The company is named Better Display Cases. They have their own website, but I buy them from Amazon because my work gives “bonuses” only in the form of gift cards, and only to useless places or Amazon. Thank you, work, for mostly buying me this case.

The company I like to buy boxes from came out with a new size, so I had to try it. It fits one male/spectral dragon and one curlie and one mother coiled dragon!
They also offer WHITE bases to their boxes now. I was tempted to try that too but thought pastel rainbow would stand out more sitting on black.

I wonder if you could pull your shelves away from the walls, put the boxes against the wall, and then put the shelves in front of the boxes? It would shrink the size of the room by the width of the largest box, but the boxes would be covered up by the shelves. This is provided you use free-standing shelf units like bookcases.
Lucky for me, my boxes fit in closets, and some drawers. All my older items were bought from the mall, so they had no boxes. AND I have room for clothes in the closets still.
