The 2020 Windstone calendar contest!
This is a fun contest just for folks who hang out on this forum! The 13 winners get a free calendar! ( one image is for the cover)
Photos will need to fit on an 8.5 x11 sized “landscape” calendar, so horizontal compositions will be best.
The best size for photos is 8.5″ x 11″ at 300 dpi ( 2,550 x 3,300 pixels).
The main subject of the photo should be Windstone figurines: Close-up portraits, a single figurine in a setting, a group of them having fun, whatever you can think of!
You can enter PYOs ( Paint your owns), but if it has been painted by an artist other than yourself, I’ll also need their written permission to use the photo.
The photos will represent months of the year, so seasonal themes will be preferred.
Don’t include any art that might be copyrighted by another artist.
Don’t include people.
You can enter 6 photos.
You must be at least 18 years old to enter. ( if the pyo was painted by someone younger than this, a parent’s permission will be needed).
By entering this contest you give Windstone Editions permission to consider your photos for use in a Windstone 2020 calendar that will be printed by Zazzle and offered for sale in our Zazzle store and our Windstone Editions website store.
Your compensation for using your photo in the calendar will be a free 2020 Windstone calendar.
You give Melody Pena and Windstone staff permission to resize, crop and adjust your photo if necessary to better fit the format of the calendar, and to print them out on our copier for the Windstone staff to judge.
If your photo has been selected to include in the calendar, we’ll send you a permission form, for you and for any other artist, (or artist’s parent) of a pyo you may use, to sign.Send your photos as jpegs, or pngs to reptangle2@gmail.com with 2020 photo calendar in the subject line.
Deadline to enter is Oct 31, 2019.

Melody? Are we able to submit entries from the last contest a few years ago that didn’t get picked? I know just a couple I may resubmit if so. I love the picture I have of Jennifer Miller’s Flame Point Tabby Male Dragon I took on the rocks at the pond by my old work.

Pipsxlch, did you email your photos before? If you still have the emails, just search back for the title or date of the emails sent and the photos will still be there as attachments so you can download them again into your computer.

Sorry you lost your photo Pip.Can you not set it up again?The one I sent in had been in my mind since 2014.I understand,I have lost many pics because of time,as in tinypics hosting has removed them. Lesson here,back up what’s important to you.
