Ooooooo! Now that you posted my grown up dragons will they disappear from your post if I take them out of my signature? Want to get more eggs! I especially like the smaller one–I named her Leto–looked up mythology names and Leto is derived from Greek meaning hidden, forgotten because the description of her was that of being shy and hiding from me. The larger one is a male and I named him Ara, the Armenian god of spring and agriculture because his description said he matched his springtime surroundings.
This is crazy but I was getting worried that they would get sick and not make it. I mean, these are internet dragons for crying out loud! But I like them and want to see them around for a while. And I also want to get more so let me know! 🙂
We can all appreciate how bills come first. My new motto has been ‘I owe, I owe, so it’s off to work I go!’ But it is hard to part with a piece that you love and now there is this new kitty who seems to have made itself right at home with you. At least you know where it’s at and that it will be taken care of! Good luck with the bills!
I had replied to someone with very sick kittens about this card–it is called ‘CareCredit’ and is for all sorts of medical needs–DENTISTRY, vision, audiology, veterinary. Go to their site carecredit.com and see what providers are in your area. At least you can make payments over a period of time which will help financially. You really need to get your teeth looked at and the sooner the better! Good luck and yeah, I know it sucks going to the dentist.

It’s the sound one makes when they get their credit card statement after over dosing on Windstones! 😮 Don’t you love it when they tell you that you’ve ‘won’ an item on eBay? Well, if I won it, then why do I have to pay for it 😈 ! I think it’s their clever way of making you feel real good about spending your money and it works! This month isn’t going to be any better so now–and I need support–I have to do a cold turkey on Windstones! Nothing for at least the next couple of months **fingernails are already leaving red marks on hands**! So I’m not even going to look in the store or the forum’s Flea Market **uncontrolable drooling is starting to set in**! Also going to stay off eBay **breaking out in cold sweat**! Who would ever know that it would come to this–me, adult, responsible and level headed–would get hooked on Windstones! 🙄 🙄 :spank: :spank: XD

I am now officially a ‘Social Windstonian’ and for me that is cause for a celebration. Any excuse to drink wine or Baileys and Creme 😆 ! I mean, I hated the term ‘Lurking Windstonian’ because it made me sound like some troll hiding in the shadows or under a bridge waiting to pounce on someone and eat them! 😈 So now I’ve moved up a notch or I am spending waaaaaay too much time on here! XD

I have something called VPI – Veterniary Pet Insurance and they’re in California. Put VPI or Veterniary Pet Insurance in your search engine and see if they do.
I’m out here in California so I don’t know if this is available in your area but at my last vet visit I got an application for ‘CareCredit’ that can be used for vets, dentists, and other healthcare services. I haven’t checked into this yet but from the brochure I have they offer promotional no interest payment plans and extended payment plans at low interest. Their number is 800-365-8295 and you can visit them at carecredit.com. This may help with your money situation if it’s offered in your area. I hope this helps and I hope the kitties will get better.
Yeeeeaaaaa! I finally did it! I finally got an item I was bidding on in Windstones ebay! 😀 It was the Lilac Gold Nettuce Poad–oh I always wanted a Poad and now I have one 8) ! Already paid for it so now all Windstone has to do is ship it to me with a Fuzzy 😀 😀 !

It doesn’t have to be in the concept that I originally put through…just a thought when I read all these posts about getting items just to have them snatched out of their carts and I thought of a game of some sort with possibly a prize for the winner. I don’t know what Windstone thinks of this and yes, it would take a monumental amount of time and programming. This is just an idea, a suggestion and if Windstone thinks it might be something to do, we’d probably wouldn’t see it for some time. Something fun with Windstones! 🙂

This is where those who are very computer savvy come in. This is just an idea that came to me and I don’t know if there would even be interest in it from forum members or Windstone. I’m just laying out basic objectives–they could set this game in an enchanted forest or a city or really, anywhere–Windstones factory. Thought it might be fun if it could be done. There could be villians you would have to thwart off etc, I mean there are many possibilities.
Things like this pop into my head from time to time. Just throwing an idea out there and if a staff member PMs me or a bunch of forum members posts and says ‘LadyFirebird, go ignite yourself!’ then I’ll respect that. Just a harmless little thought about having some fun! 🙂
As I’m reading all the stories about the release of the various dragons in the Amethyst color–a crazy thought occured to me. I read it in a post–and I forget where–that getting some of these items was like a hunt. I mean people thought they had an item and didn’t as they checked out, missing the release despite camping out on the computer or just turning their head to sneeze. Well, I know there are some computer pros on this forum, who like to play online games so how about a Windstones hunt game?
I can come up with ideas, but don’t have the expertise or talent to pull it off but here’s how it could go:
An individual would pick a certain dragon they would like to ‘collect’ and state that at the beginning of the game. Like if they wanted all male dragons a certain color or all orientals etc or this could be set–this game is all fledglings or all coileds or all in a family–male, mother, hatchling. Then they would go hunting for them and like the Windstone store, they could come out at any given moment. You would then have to try and capture them and put them in your display case. But, like the Windstone store, just because you have dragon in hand doesn’t mean it’ll make it to the display case and someone else could capture it from you if you didn’t perform certain steps in a certain order to confirm capture. The first one to capture all their dragons wins. This could go on for weeks even months!
I was also thinking of this: Windstones has a raffle each month and draws names to see which of us will get the raffle. I like that and also, there could be a prize for the winner of the Windstones game. It wouldn’t be every month–like every 4 months or even bi yearly, that you could play for. Same rules apply, once you’ve won a prize, you couldn’t play again but could help assist a player of your choice help capture their dragons. That way they could still have the thrill of the play! And if the winner contributes their prize to a charity cause, they can still play the next game.
Does this sound real way out? Just a thought everyone, just a thought!
That is good to know for everyone who didn’t get one. I managed to get an amethyst fledgie and an oriental young today! Don’t ask me how–just was there at the right time! Sometimes I have to question myself if going after some of these things like a frenzy is a good idea. Windstone knows they’re popular and will be making more. The amethyst curl is available and when I last looked, there were 4 left. These flew outta the store in the beginning as well. This is also expensive 😮 ! Man, I hope I don’t lose my job in the next couple of months because then I’ll be in deep copious amounts of poo! :shout: But I have to admit–I’m getting some real pretties! 😀

I’m so sorry your dragon came so damaged! Don’t throw it down–it can be repaired. I know a lot of these UPS stores will correctly package and ship an item for you. Maybe you could request the seller to do that next time. From what I understand, if the shipping store packages it and ships it and it is damaged, they are responsible! I’ve also been told that even with insurance, if they see that it wasn’t packaged properly, they will deny the claim. Haven’t had this experience, but someone told me this. I know that has to be so disappointing! Looks like a job for Kyrin!
