I think an unpainted pyo of the host’s choice is a fair compensation gift for the hassle they go through micromanaging the swaps. It’ll promote interest in hosting for our biannual-ish swaps without too much drama. I’ll be the one to step on the landmine too: not to be a Negative Nolan but Melody painting a piece just for the host would probably be a bit overkill. People might go a little nutty trying to claim host priority/start swaps at random/etc just to get a special piece (and they might not even put in effort to host seriously). I get it since everyone wants something special and unique from Melody, myself included, but I feel like it could potentially cause more problems than not.
All of this. I agree.
Were there lighter green and darker green versions of the Emerald/Jade Orientals like the light and dark Peacock ones?
Yes. At least for the “standard” oriental. I don’t think the Sun or the young orientals did, but I could be wrong.
I might be able to join. Maybe. Depends if my depression will go away quick enough for me to finish the outstanding PYO trade I’m currently working on. He’s so very close to competition.
I really do love these guys. Unfortunately I doubt I’ll be able to afford one… so I hope he eventually is released in a production color.
Oh no. Oh no. I’m assuming these are grab bags and oh no, this will be the first grab bag I have ever wanted to buy. I hope they won’t come out for awhile so I can maybe scrape some money up…

Specifically the old green, toasted pearl, glacier and the version 1 blue/white curl? I don’t remember his name off the top of my head, but he was released along side the lavender pearl. Batch one had yellow eyes then the batches after all had blue.
Aquamarine, or blue pearl. Both are listed on the site, if you search for curled in the search bar. You can pick which one yours matches.
Interesting. I looked before posting and didn’t see him. I had to actually search in the bar for under the name. But he is Blue Pearl (but that name didn’t sound right in my head for whatever reason).
It’s also interesting that they then created “aquamarine”. The first batch had yellow eyes, but then, if I recall, second batch buyers of Blue Pearl were met with a surprise of blue eyes upon opening their boxes.December 27, 2018 at 4:01 pm in reply to: Windstone Appraisals (What is my Windstone worth?) #1550531Anyone have any idea of curl prices? @chibishiro12 I’m glad you like your gifts!
I received my package from Phoegonix today! Thank you so very much, everything is wonderful!
Sorry for my messy desk, but Phoegonix sent the brilliant bovine items that will fit marvelously with the rest of my bulls/cows collection, seaweed snacks (LOVE seaweed!) and some dark chocolate. I’m extremely happy with my gifts, thank you so much 😀
I wouldn’t be so quick to dismiss it just because they didn’t mention or have the coa. I sold my black baby Pegasus awhile back and he came with a coa when I purchased him, and he was signed. I have no clue where that coa is, and I even forgot that he came with one until much later after I sold him.
If he’s emerald peacock and signed, I’d say it would be difficult to fake. Perhaps they got the sculpt from someone else that didn’t give them the coa. Or perhaps they thought the coa was just trash in the box and didn’t even look.
Some quality pictures would be helpful to determine.I too have depression (and severe anxiety). All my collection has been packed away for about 8 years now. Even the newest eBay piece I accidentally won went right into the closet with the rest of the boxes. They stopped giving me any joy a long time ago, but I can’t bring myself to sell them (even though that money would reeeeaally benefit me right now). I think in order to fill the void and hate of living, I try and get things I like but in the end nothing helps but hey repetitive cycle and humans are the only animals that don’t learn from their mistakes.
I never really thought about how family view fursuits. My first fursuit came about after my mom died, but I know she wouldn’t have cared. Every time I bring out one of my suits, my dad is just like “have fun”. He’s never questioned it (and he’s even bragged to people that I make these things), and I think I’ve taken that for granted… forgetting that a lot of people and family/parents really do think fursuits are weird or shun those that wear them.
(If I had the money, I could finally fur these four foam heads I’ve carved. But here they sit and have sat for months)I think all of us at some point has thought or hoped we could work at the factory. It’s natural to want to work somewhere that makes you happy.
I’ve noticed over the years, many of the collectors that use to be big here have slowly faded and stopped collecting…
Mine was delivered on Sunday according to tracking.
Orion looks amazing on the emperor and male.
I mentioned awhile back wanting Breyer bulls/cows on a collection thread. I don’t know if the user you’re thinking of might have been me? If it is, I’ll take em! If it might have been another user, I’ll take them if they decide they don’t want them 🙂

I don’t know why I even bother.
THIS is why I will never, ever purchase a grab bag 😂
That being said, I like to look at them, but unless I know exactly what I’m getting, nope.
I do like that blue gradient one you got, Dragon. He’s neat.Oooo~ I wonder how it might match the male sushi cat you did!
