If dragon has a open plate right now I’d say go for it, I’m in the middle of about 15 castings of my art dolls so I’m up to my elbows lol ^_^;; I’ll snag him if I don’t see anyone else grab him if it comes to that.

It looks to me like some cheap applebarrel quality acrylic, it might come off easily because of the protective coat on the original paint job but even under the best conditions he’ll need a new coat over the scrap. If the funds get raised and you take him on I know you are a very skilled artsit and he’s in good hands =) I’ll let him be for now and wait to see what happens tomorrow with him. But I am up for nabbing him and doing any repaint a potential buyer/adopter would be interested in as well, if White was requested I work with pearl acrylics and dust my statues with pearl ex pigments of which I have whites with all manners of interference shines.

I posted on the knock off thread, I am interested in rescuing him and restoring him to a lovely pearl white though that shipping is highway robbery, even using usps which I often do because well, it’s just easier with a two year old in tow it shouldn’t be over 17.00 tops! If no one else grabs him tonight, I just might. The only thing is I already have two males, the peacock I grew up drooling over and vowed to own one day and the amazing King parrot which is my one and only and very beloved #1 paint so I would eventually be rehoming him. That being said and hopefully not stepping on any toes with a “repaint” suggestion if anyone was interested in taking him off my hands I’d be more than happy to snag him for sure.

I was eyeing this guy too, the poor poor thing =( Not only is the paint horrible but it doesn’t even appear to have a protective coat. That gives me hope it could be repainted but ugh almost 30 bucks for shipping? I do agree the eyes make me think it was a majestic white male… at one time.

So a friend happened to favorite several items on etsy which shows up in my feed so I investigated further, I’m genuinely unsure if this is appropriate use of windstones hence my posting here, but she uses the statues in several pictures to promote her own products https://www.etsy.com/shop/PurplecatCreatives this caught my eye especially, I can’t find this griffin as a windstone candle holder but if it isn’t authentic it’s most certainly a knock off. https://www.etsy.com/listing/90795095/mega-jar-body-butter?ref=shop_home_active Again, she’s selling her own product and just using them as props, I’m not sure how the rules fall on something like that.

I saw him as well, but I was a vendor myself at Megacon this year so I wasn’t really able to go peruse his stall very much. I was curious if he had to be an official dealer to sell pyo’s from a con booth though. Small world i hope you had fun there! :3

Neither color are a favorite of mine but they work SO well together, it’s really hard to make those two complimentary colors not look overly “Christmassy” but what a wonderful job on him, I truly tip my hat to the painter and mastermind behind it! (No sure if it was Melody or not) 🙂

I do not work for windstone, but they often do new test paints and post them on ebay, they can be any sculpture, but right now they have a really fun one up http://www.ebay.com/itm/WINDSTONE-EDITIONS-TOMATO-GARDEN-1-MALE-DRAGON-FIGURINE-FANTASY-STATUE-/300732853330?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4605132c52#ht_500wt_1413 If you want a really fun unique one I highly suggest keeping an eye open on ebay!

                            Happy collecting! <3

Awe thanks! ^_^; I started with a sequin black and sheens of metallic blues and violets over her and then did the thick starry strokes, I just relisted but if you don’t nab this one just contact me to create another, kirins are fortunately the one thing that the pyo store always has! =D
