*deep breath here* I still love the Muses and have 9 already and I find the smaller ones easier and faster to paint. I just finished my first PYO small dragon and I thought I was going to die. I finally got into the swing of it and it came out rather nicely.

I would love to see some more small ones like flapcats and more the size of the small dragons. How about a Muse size baby dragon without shell. There is no way I could even think of doing a Keeper although I do love them. I guess I will have to commission larger ones to be done for me…hahaha

I was so glad to see the third chick had hatched and I only missed it by about an hour. It is funny watching those 3 chicks under mom, peeking out from the feathers. Little fluffy heads sticking up…lol.

Mom flew off for a few minutes this morning and left the chicks in a little pile. What do 3 kids do when mom is away for a minute or two….they pick on each other of course. Chick #1 was the bully and was picking or should I say pecking on the other two so they would keep their heads down and away from any potential food mom or dad could bring. “Me first syndrome” It was cute though I do think Chick #! needs a time out really badly.

Take a look. Mom moves away from the chicks more now so if you watch long enough you’ll be sure to see them. Really cute.

I’m beginning to think the third egg is a dud(they happen) as it hasn’t hatched yet, but the other two chicks are getting some real life in them.

One of the chicks spent part of the day out from under mom and that head just wobbled about and the little wings are so cute. He/she is in a crawling stage as the legs aren’t sturdy enough yet but boy can he gulp down whatever happens to be in the larder. So far there is a rabbit, fish, crow, and muscrat to choose from. Fine dining…

The chick from the second egg is still under mom and needs more food to grow up big and strong. He’ll get there. Wish we knew the sex of the chicks but mom and dad are still too close to check up on that factoid. Had hoped for 3 chicks but seems we get only two unless the third is just really late.

Eagle cams are so much fun to watch and the new little ones look so much like fuzz balls with feet and beaks. I’ll keep an eye here and see is they are hatching…should be soon according to the printed material..

I’m coming out of the other camp here *hides behind couch* Both my cats are declawed and have had no problems at all but they were done as kittens. We are only talking about front ones only aren’t we???

I was lucky enough to find a vet that did declawing the old school way and not the new way of removing the first knuckle. Mine were done by pushing the nail sheath all the way back and then some to get at the nail root then clipping it off there. This leaves the foot in one piece and the only thing missing is the nail. Sort of like taking your toenail off and leaving the toe in one piece.(sorry if this sounds gross, apologize)

My cats are happy and still will tumble or attack each other every once in while, sort of like two sock puppets. You do have to watch they don’t get out a little more closely but mine don’t know what outside is anyway. I have all my furniture and things intact and they don’t even try to scratch and have developed other ways to itch their feet, one has taken up cardboard boxes and the other just ignores it altogether.

I wouldn’t have the heart to mutilate my cat’s claws with the surgery type. If done right the nail removal works well, just the vet doesn’t have the time skill or knowledge of that other type and there is a chance they may grow back in time. End of my story…..

Your bouquet is really lovely and very unique. Just think in a few years the stories you can tell of how it came to be. I really like the brooch on top that looks like a peacock feather…
You are certainly very talented in this department. Congratulations on getting married also!!!!

I’m with Rusti on what she said about getting off scott free. As you get older what you tell and promise people forms a basis for life and if you can’t stick to what you promised to do just because you don’t like it anymore people won’t depend on you anymore for important things. Actions have consequences just as in real life. Ethan should continue with track because he said he would do it, next year is another story. Good luck with Ethan…..
