I got this gorgeous VF curlie in a lot, and I’m curious after finding out that the VF curlies had two versions, which one this is?
I couldn’t wait to see the Violet Flame color in person, it’s so pretty. It completely lives up to the hype IMO. I love love love this color.
Mine’s doing the same. I managed to capture a LP Adult, and the timer is still up there, and the dragon is still in my cart. I double-checked my Orders page though, and the order has already been placed.
Not sure if it takes the 15 minutes to clear out.
I just took a huge swig of coffee, and it went down the wrong pipe, which made me involuntarily cough, which sent all the coffee back up my nose and throat, and ewwwwww. Now there’s coffee all over my desk. 😛
Sooooo I haven’t seen my boyfriend in a year now and we are currently working on fixing that so we can work out our differences and get heading to marriage or moving on. Anyway a few months back he kinda well made out with a girl he has known for a few years that I positively don’t like and had prior told him “Ben she likes you, don’t kid yourself into thinking you two can really just be friends”. Anyways we have been working through that the best that we can with the 6000 mile gap. Anyhow this #%$#^ is also mutual friends with all of his friends so this weekend is a wedding of one these mutual friends….Am I going s bit nuts and wanting to kinda be a crazy person right now…Yes.
Also I will probably end up seeing her while I am out this coming up year. And my dislike for her also goes to the point of she has a FREAKING BOYFRIEND!! So she cheated on him with mine while he was and still is in AFGHANISTAN!!! I’ve met him to and he was a fantastically sweet guy that was so completely in love with her. Dang it want to slap her and kick my boyfriend in the balls $#%#@%^@%$#&%^^@%#$………

I don’t know much about your situation, it is obviously complex. However, it seems like the writing might be on the wall. I worry about you committing to someone who cheated on you. You even voiced your misgivings about that person before the cheating occurred! And in the ‘heat of the moment’ he still managed to not think about that conversation with you? That’s pretty crappy.
I assume he knew the girl had a boyfriend in Afghanistan? So this makes him look like he’s willing to cheat on his girlfriend, AND he’s ok with being ‘the other guy’ to a guy who’s serving the country.
I have been on both sides of a situation like this which is why I am hesitant to condemn anyone… but this kind of situation is really, really hard to come back from unless both parties of the couple are EXTREMELY committed to making it work. I can see that you are. Just please be very careful in your assessment of how much he wants to work on this relationship with you.
It might be better in the long run to accept this turn of events as an indication that you have some real incompatibilities in your core values. That’s really hard for both parties to come to terms with if in a relationship with one another. Only you can decide if this turn of events really is an indication of that. But please be careful with your heart. <3

I’m not sure which is worse: not getting to know your father or watching him become someone else, knowing you’ll never be able to do the things you could with him anymore.

I have just a single memory of my father’s blue eyes and big hands, we were horsing around and he was tickling me.
He passed away from a heart attack. Coke overdose.
Part of me will always still be mad at him for choosing what he did, over a beautiful wife and two little girls. It’s taken me years to become aware of how much his decisions have impacted my life and psyche, and counteract the negative aspects from that.
I feel for ya, Drag0n. Big hugs to you. Hopefully you have a few memories you get to hold on to. Those are special. 🙂 Sharing stories about your dad can be nice too, from people who knew him longer than you.

Waffles, that’s darkly funny. All the wildfires here in CA smell a lot like sage incense from the chaparral. Oddly pleasant but it leaves you uneasy just the same.
This is the closest one’s gotten to our house, but I vividly remember in high school a much worse one just a bit south of us. It was out in a really nice area, there are a lot of horse training facilities out there, big-time ones. When the fires came in an emergency alert was put out to horseowners in the area that help was needed.
It was quite a sight seeing the stream of trailers going into the fire zone and everyone working together, following the firefighter’s directions, and getting horses out safely. We got out 8 ourselves with 2 trips. GIANT 2-year old racing thoroughbreds…big, dangerous, scared babies. I don’t know how we did it, we just did. I didn’t hear of any animals or people lost then, only a handful homes. Given the seriousness and scale of those fires, it felt like a huge victory.
As evil a reputation as popups have, I honestly really loved them on the old forum. They were the exception that proved the rule!
Whenever I logged in, or if I came to the site already logged in, a small popup told me I had a PM.
There was a link in the popup to your inbox so you could check it right then, or just close it and check later. I liked those.
Does the new forum coding allow that kind of stuff? And did any of you other guys like the popup notification too?
Huzzah, I was able to order a pup! Made it by the skin of my teeth, there were only 6 left.
I can’t wait to see what all of the talented painters come up with for these guys. ^______________^
