Guesses emailed!
That last one was tricky. It took me quite some time to figure it out, along with the one I whined about earlier (I finally found it). I’m confident that I got them all correct. 🙂 I was too stubborn to give up, heheh.
I’ve got 12 of the 13 for sure, but the one remaining has me utterly stumped. I’ve looked at hundreds of pictures and carefully looked over my Windstones for hours, and I can’t figure it out. Either it’s some obscure angle of a piece I don’t own, or I’m blind. 😛 I wonder how many people will guess that particular sculpt correctly.
I’ll be really interested to see all the pieces revealed once the quest is over.

So I finally got around to taking pictures of my new unicorn -the lighting in my house is terrible!. I’m calling her a fire lichen, and I love her to bits! She is pretty much exactly what I wanted. 🙂
She’s got bright red and orange lichen markings, red eyes and jewel, plus some blue interference paint at the top of her neck. She also has neat markings on her face that make her look like a fiery African wild dog, which I think is really cool.
I have my fingers crossed that mine will arrive today. I had a Windstone package arrive yesterday and got all excited, but it turned out to be a hatcher and curlie! So my baby uni is still a mystery. 🙂

I was excited (the new hatcher is a hoot), but I knew exactly what I was unwrapping. I’m itching to find out if I’ve got a lichen, a tiger, or even a zombie-corn!
Update: It’s a fire lichen! Pictures coming soon.

I will admit, I’m not into unicorns (except the PYO), so I got one in the hopes of trading for a poad, and now, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell, I dunno anymore. For the first time, I just might keep a unicorn!
The contrast with the black really shows the different coppers, the eyes are a sparkling straw and there’s some invisible paint too. I haven’t yanked out the tag yet, but I’m seriously thinking about not trading…

I have always the loved black and tan coloration of dobermans, rotties, etc., so I was super happy to get one of the new opoponax curlies (I missed ver.1). The original raffle OW done in opoponax made me gasp out loud when I first saw him, so I would be thrilled with a LP run of opoponax on other dragon sculpts.

Seeing these first few is getting me so excited. But it will be a while I’m sure before I get mine. It will be hard to be patient! 😛
Holy moly, are they ever gorgeous! I just keep looking at them and muttering, “I like that one, and that one, and that one, and that one…” 🙂

D6 was my entry. I was thrilled when I made the finals, since this was my first serious effort with a Photoshop-type program. The fact that I got so close to the non-Facebook winner D4 was icing on the cake.
I hope we more quests alongs the lines of this one in the future. 🙂

Aww… Try and look on the bright side. The fact that the riser sold for $1k should hopefully encourage P.S. to paint more Poison Dart Frog dragons. *fingers crossed*
I just submitted mine and all I can say is wow, has it ever been a learning experience. I started with one idea in my head, and by the time I was done painting, it was completely different! 😛
I must have gone through 4 different ideas while painting. I find it so interesting to see how some ideas that worked in my head just didn’t work when actually applied, and others popped up spontaneously that did.
I can hardly wait to see what the other creative and talented people here came up with. 🙂
