Ooh, I’m very interested in a peacock lap dragon…I’d also kind of like to look for another fledgling, because I’m not very happy with the one that I got – he has no purple! What are your prices and shipping rates and everything?? And I’m with Wolfen – lay away would be AWSOME.

-J R R TolkienOh, man – I just recently learned to make a mean shepard’s pie, which is something I used to eat every summer when I went to Connecticut but never had in California where I live. It’s totally a child hood comfort food for me. YUM! And almost simultaneously I discovered the divinity of Yukon Gold potatoes, which makes the pie EXTRA good!
If anyone’s interested, I’ll post my recipe, though I’m sort of an intuitive cook so I’ll have to guesstimate the exact amounts of stuff…I make it with ground turkey (because I can’t tell the difference between ground turkey and ground beef and the turkey is better for me) but you can use either…"He that breaks a thing to find out what it is has left the path of wisdom."

-J R R TolkienMelody’s was the first fantasy sculpture that was able to take my breath away – When I looked at her work, I could SEE the living creature in it, the muscles beneath the scales, the intensity in the eyes…my tan griffin was the only piece I had for a long long time – got him back when I was a preteen – and when I looked at him out of the corner of my eye, I swore I could see him move. 🙂 She’s just the best, and her sculptures are truly the finest to be had. And as prohibitive as the price is sometimes, each one is absolutely worth every penny.
I admit that I have the same problem as Wolfen, though – now that I have some money, I feel the intense compulsion to CATCH UP! 🙂 I’m becoming dragonish myself and accumulating a hoard with an insatiable hunger to add to it. I either have to REALLY slow down or “create” more room for them somehow! Anyone know of any nice fantasy or maybe dragon oriented save the date cards? Any of the fantastic proffesional artists connected to Windstone do anything like that maybe? Ha, in my dreams…
