Happy Birthday!!
Those are very pretty! 😯 It reminds me of Merlin and his prophecy (the white and red dragon).
I contacted Karen. She said that the Sea Jewel mermaid had been retired for some time (and they are now out of them at the factory), but no word yet on the sconce. Apparently they still have some left to paint at the factory, but they’re not sure if they will produce more or not after that.
Which sculps and additional colors will be retired this year? The reason I ask is that on Astral Castle it was showing that the Sea Jewel Mermaid was retired, but I hadn’t seen any posts about it. If this is true does it also mean that the Sea Fire Sconce will also retire? Sorry to bug.

Just tell them have to take care of some imporatant “business” and you’ll have to visit some other time. 8)
Update!!
I went to my local store: The Briar Shoppe (541) 343-4738 in Eugene, Oregon and they said they had the Rainbow Emp for $303.95.
Not sure if anyone cares, just to let you guys know.

They should def keep the box. Really…how many $1000 pieces does the average collector have laying around? Not too many. Should not be hard for them to keep a box or two… or ten.
Or forty…I think that’s about how many I have now… 😆
I’m getting there quick myself. I’m going to stop collecting for awhile after I get the griffins and mermaids. Then I will take a final tally. It will probably be mid-thirties.

This could be interesting…a dimension inhabited solely by were-bananas…. 😆

I just purchased a gold lap from Karen on Monday based on the photo Skigod had posted of her lap in a thread a long time ago. I liked the buttery color, I just hope it doesn’t have too much brown. Well, I’ll see when I get it.
No, there is really not that much difference. The new ones are just a bit lighter than the old ones.
well if you like eachothers better you can just switchTrue!

This thread brings up a good point. How much is too much and like Ski said, if you bury it, it will come back again.
We might as well ban “The Hunt for Red October” with Sean Connery, because one of the Navy officers (I think it was that character) said the word “Ruskies” in a degrogatory way. You could probably ban about 3/4 of movies and animation on words and showing anyone in a diagreeable light alone.

I don’t particularly like the St. George type of dragon stories so Melody’s look like how I picture dragons.
That is very true. That is why I love Melody’s dragons and don’t have any other type around my house.
I have to second that as well. Most other dragons look like they’ve been over-doing the steroids, you know?
Or need anger management.

I was just thinking tjhe same thing. I’m glad you are OK. I reminded me of 7 1/2 years ago when I got rear ended on my motorcycle. I was very happy to be able to walk away
That is amazing you made it through that, but even more wonderful is the support your Windstones gave when you needed it. I know it sounds silly, but they really do have a type of magic to them, a very wonderful magic….

My cat knocked it over! She’s NEVER knocked over a Windstone before, she totally ignores them. *sighs* I just spent hours putting him together, because he was broken, and then, when he’s finally done, the stupid cat tips him over and I get to start all over again, with more pieces than before!
Ack! *pats SPark on the back* 🙁
