Hey! BT just posted one of the coiled peacocks for ~$75 buy it now. Not a bad price if you need one I think. 🙂
Thanks!
The sniping ninja strikes again. No auction is safe. 😆
We should tell her that the rainbow dragons have retired, so they have probably already moved to their retirement villa and no longer inhabit that vase. They could always send her their social security checks. 8)

Well, not really. I just get VERY annoyed at the stupid, bad, pop singer Christmas music that takes over the radio. There are hundreds of amazingly good Christmas songs for choir, traditional and new, and every single one of them so much better than some wanna-be wailing their version of Little Drummer Boy, but they NEVER play the real Christmas music, just the Britney Spears mangled version. Ugh.
I HATE HATE HATE HATE Christmas music. HATE it. Lord, if I hear “I’m dreaming of a white Christmas” one more time… I think I might just go shoot someone.
No offence. But MAN. This is the time of year when sitting in coffee shops becomes painful–and that’s just not very nice at all!
On another note, I agree, Händel is a lot of fun to play!
*quickly hides Christmas CDs, handgun and watergun from Chessie* 😀
SPark wrote:Gah. The people at my local place don’t know what they’re talking about, and they act like they do! They told me ALL of the sitting spectrals, peacock included, were retired when the rising spectral came out.
Which is silly, given that the sitting spectral in peacock was obviously available from the factory until just now.
Who did you talk to? There is a guy with a beard that is usually there. He really doesn’t know, nor care about Windstones that much (but thinks he does). Then there is a woman with brown hair who actually does the ordering from the factory and she is very knowledgable and gives great customer service. I would only do business with her, if I knew when she worked.
Yikes. I should have known being retired. Well, you should get a good price for her here. I wish you the best of luck. I can’t go too high right now since I’m saving pennies while awaiting griffins (never know when they will make an appearance). 😉
I’m not sure of the e-bay price range for the mom kirin, but I’m interested. I’m thinking of making an offer, but I don’t know what a good one would be. $50 ?? I’ve been focused on other sculps, so I haven’t been watching this one.

Not true. There is the pegasus and grand unicorns. Although, for those she does have to have a base.

Crap! It will be another year until I see blue eyed whites. 😥
My .00002 cents worth…..None of the choices really caught my attention. However, I really don’t have a good recommendation, so I’ll not complain. I voted for aqua marine because it does look like that to me. Or Seafoam?
I found it hard to pick a water-like name because the color scheme has much more green than blue. On the other hand turquoise to me means those big stones you see in Native American jewlery and to me they always look blue.
When I saw the word Viridian (sp?) I asked myself Virid-what?! No associations come to mind when I see that word. I agree we have to come up with something that is descriptive to a wide range of people. I would recommend something with the predominate color in the name. Green somethingfillinawordhere. Someone mentioned Lagoon. Green Lagoon? (Kina reminds me of some monster movie) – anyway – as I digress – I think we need to be more descriptive than overly creative. The simplier the better.
Greater Basilisk wrote:My little brothers admire my dragons very much. My older ones are like, “Aren’t you saving for a rifle?” (So? That’s the rest of the money. :)) My Dad doesn’t say anything but I’m pretty sure he thinks it’s a stupid thing to spend money on, and Mom keeps reminding me to watch my budget. She does love the colors, but she doesn’t like the squished-ness of the sculpts.
Squished-ness?? 😕
*sings* Somebody has toooo much time on their hands. 😯

I wish I was rich *clicks heels together 3 times* HAHAHAHA 😆Yeah…my poor friends eyes glaze over after a fw minutes of me gabbing about “this dragon” and “that griffin.” At least here everyone loves them. We can talk about them forever…as shown by the number of topics.
Glaze. That is exactly the word to describe my family and friends when I say I collect Windstones. Or even mention a “new release” of something. The first reaction is a confused look. The second is a vacant look followed by a nod as I describe what a “Windstone” is. Then if I continue to describe all the different types, the Glaze sets in. 😯
It is very beautiful. 😮
Cool! Thank you for the info, I’ll take a look. 😀
