I might have to get you to do some commissions sometime. I doubt i could do Rana (in my icon) any justice as a sculpture, but i think you could probably do one of her quite well.

Huzzah and congratulations to you, Serenity! He’s a beauty!

Good job, congratulations! I hope the internship stuff works out well for you.

I’ve been reading through a book about lizards found in southwestern North America (since i’ve seen so many in California and Arizona), and some of those lizards have neat color and camouflage combinations. Collared Lizards, Greater Earless Lizard… very nifty, and i think they’d be neat to see on a small dragon. 🙂

How cool, they look awesome! If i had the extra money, i’d be awfully tempted to get the teal blue one – he is SO my color. I really have to watch my spending impulses on such neat things in my colors. 😉

in reply to: Oh my lovely spine….sigh #880959

I loved my chiropractor at home. The jaw and neck adjustments were the worst (pop-OW!) but helped, and the spinal and knee work really helped once i got used to it. It took a long time for me to relax and trust him. I was young and overloading my back and knees from climbing lots of stairs with a full backpack every day at school. I can’t imagine what condition they’d be in today if i hadn’t had it done. I’m tempted to see if he’s still practicing and get in some minor adjustments. I’ve heard horror stories, too, and it’s understandable considering what they’re doing with which body parts – chiropractor adjustments are life-altering, whether bad or good.

I hope you continue to improve, purplecat!

Wow, he is STUNNING! I look forward to seeing what you do with him when you consider him more “finished!”

in reply to: Anyone interested in paintable PYO unicorn horns? #880957

I vouch for both if that’s doable. 🙂

I’ve thought of doing a PYO unicorn, even though i imagine my favorite unicorn as horse-hoofed rather than deer-hoofed. Her horn would be a light holo-sheen silver (like on some of the pebble critters) if i did do her as a PYO, and i would feel awful painting over such a pretty gold.

Mmm, i LOVE that light holo silver fox! I would so readily buy a cat done in that color as a Siamese (or any critter with that color style).

    Thanks!

I see that posts change the date too if you edit them. I got them a month ago and finally figured out the problem with my picture-posting – the forum uses HTML instead of BBS code.

I have since bought a Silver Rainbow Sparkle Fat Cat who had a Fuzzy to tag along. I fear i have hit the slippery slope, hehe.

I got my Dragons today! (well, the 18th, i’m still awake, so it’s “today” ;))

Since i’m still in the “newbie” phase and only have the two Dragons, i figured i’d post pics here. They haven’t told me their names yet. As always, photos do them no justice.

in reply to: List your collection! #880722

I’m still very much a newbie. Since joining, i did grab the three i’d have felt bad if i missed out:

    1) Male Dragon, Black Violet Peacock
    2) Curlie, Emerald Color Shift
    3) Fat Cat, Silver Rainbow Sparkle – accompanied by a zebra Fuzzy

I’m tempted to get the Fennec in black rainbow sparkle. I’ll eventually hunt down a rainbow and a basic peacock of some kind, maybe see if i can grab a Siamese griffin/cat/flap cat and a candy corn GB unicorn foal. I obviously can’t resist shiny colors!

Now if i could summon the courage to try my hand at a PYO, too.

    Yay, happy birthday! 🙂

in reply to: Dragon colors never done #879536

Or an “autumn” color scheme. I’m not a fan of orange unless it’s metallic or nestled in other fall-like colors…or the swallow colors. I’m sure that if the Windstone crew decide to do something with orange, it’ll be fantastic as always.
