If anyone is ever in Half Moon Bay, CA, Seascapes no longer sells Windstones (they only sold the mermaids anyways). The other shop there Tokenz had no retired ones that I could see 🙁 I’ve already emailed Suzie about Seascapes.
As much as I love the silver OW, the emerald peacock, and the black/bluish dragons, I must say my favorite colours are still old brown/green, so I went with the 2nd option.
ROFL! I saw those on ebay last night, and I was like, “WOW what lovely pictures!” I didn’t realise they were Vantid’s auctions until now hehe.

Thanks for the link – it was fun reading more about Harry. Although it made me laugh about him being head of the department of Aurors. Can’t you just imagine the job interview:
“Well, Mr. Potter, what experience do you have?”
“I killed Lord Voldemort.”
“Oh, right, when can you start?”
And I keep picturing other people going to apply for the job and seeing Harry sitting there. “Rats, he killed Voldemort – what have I done? Captured one death eater. Guess I’ll just apparate back home.”

Ohhh I second food decorating! I used to work at a Cookies by Design when I was 18 or so, and it paid decently and I got to draw all day (with icing).

I was soooo angry at the end of that movie – first they killed the dog and then the puppies at the end? There were several pure bred looking collie puppies and one pure dogue de bordeaux puppy. Hello! Genetics doesn’t work that way – all the pups should have been mutts. But to kill Hootch? 😯 It was like if Disney had killed the Tramp or if Lassie died at the end of one of the movies. Seriously! I remember liking the movie K-9 which had a similar plot to it much bette simply because, though shot, the dog did survive in the end. I know the most disturbing part of Starship Troopers isn’t the people getting ripped apart, but the shot of the dead dog on the newscast. Funny how kids/animals dying in movies seems to affect us more. Maybe because we feel they are too innocent to die.

Yep x_X My drawings (mostly dragons and horse heads) always seem to face left too.

What did everyone think of the ending? What was and was not surprising to you? Personally Fred biting it shocked me the most :'( Oh and Hedwig, but I can understand why, as it would have been awkward running around with her in a cage everywhere. But still sad :'( Were your suspicions about Snape correct? One thing I appreciate about the Harry Potter books as that I feel any mysteries that are opened are closed and explained eventually. Was everything explained to your satisfaction
