Wooo! Perfect score! I did it yesterday and got a 4 after being tripped up by the yellow/greens.

Husband: “Did I pick you a good monitor or what?” πŸ˜€

I grind my teeth so I often give myself tooth pain, so I always saw going to the dentist as a relief XD Also, my teeth are soft so I get cavities left and right. I had to get a crown recently, which was an uncomfortable process to say the least, but /shrugs. I’ve had all my wisdom teeth removed, but I was knocked out the whole operation.

And though I do hate shots with a passion, I’m a big girl now and just stay still as they do it and think of something else (like sing a song in my head, or try to list as many breeds of horses as I can) instead of getting all worked up like I did when I was a little girl. I think freaking out about it just makes it worse in your head. Because really, most dentists shots really don’t hurt that bad, at least in my experience.

My wife and kids have that. It affects about 1 in 250 people, though the diagnosis rate is far less than that. Particularly in the USA.

My husband suffers from that too. Makes finding a wide variety of food to eat, or going on vacation or eating out very difficult.

We’ve had some rough years, only being together for 4 years, both being so young and having to deal with so much. As sad as I am at losing a good friend and lover, I know that as a person I will be happier on a whole without him. He is still trying to find himself, as am I. We both need to grow immensely before we can truly satisfy a spouse. Our marriage was a mistake, but like all mistakes I know I will be taking a lot of lessons away from it.

Seems you’ve already told yourself the most important thing to hear right now.

                    *big hugs*

As far as from this point on, make sure you take care of yourself financially, setting up new bank accounts only in your name. Is it possible to move in with your Dad for awhile? Let yourself grieve the loss of the relationship, even though moving on is for the best. Just take your time, heal, and don’t give up. πŸ™‚

I have Wii Fit and I love it too!!! It does make exercise fun!!! I’m trying to use it for an hour a day, at least 5 days a week. I haven’t started the strength exercises yet. I’ve been focusing on yoga and aerobics with some balance exercises thrown in. What’s fun is Wii Fit has imported all of the characters my son created for our other Wii games, so I see them working out with me too!! πŸ˜†

^ That about says exactly what I was going to say XD Almost freakishly similar (even the part about the strength training). I try about 30 min a day though.

*hugs* Your boyfriend sounds like my ex-husband. I met him when I was 18, and kinda had to rush into marrying him when I was 21. (He was a foreign exchange student). Anyway, he would constantly critisize me, get upset with me for things I hadn’t done (as opposed to things I did do, kinda like that pontoon incident you described). He’d also stay out all night playing poker and not call me. He predominantly cared about what he wanted to do, and wanted me to act how he wanted me to act, etc.

Anyway, by 24 I got my head out of my young ass and left him.

By next year I had met the most kind, loving, wonderful man ever placed on this planet that treats me with love and respect. So don’t give up on men! πŸ™‚ There’s some good ones out there. Realise what you are describing is emotional abuse. πŸ™ I know you can’t just pick up and leave, but please explore options. Don’t let him emotionally dominate you. It’s not a healthy relationship πŸ™

I did… when I was really little XD My parents had a swimming pool so they signed me up for the type of lessons you’re talking about. She said they’d even toss us in in winter clothes to make sure we could be safe even if we were wearing heavy clothing.

My poor parents had to pay for a large number of lessons because while I would float on my back, I wouldn’t turn and grab the edge of the pool when my head bumped against the side, I just floated around the pool like a little ping pong ball, lol. Eventually they just gave up and figured I wouldn’t drown if I did fall in so left it at that. XD
