Better pictures of my ki-rin! Lots of gold, brown, and black. She has metallic cream paint on her throat scales and glittery yellow/pinkish/lavenderish eyes.

My baby’s here! Better pictures will come tomorrow when I have the time to take them, but for now, she’s the one on the second row up from the bottom, second in from the right. She’s darker than the class photo looks – a burnished gold with wispy black markings, shaded brown feet, and sparkly gold eyes that have a hint of lavender in them. Very pretty but I was hoping for something flashier – she’ll be up for trade if anyone is interested!

Copper, yours is a ‘sleeper’, I totally overlooked it in the class photo but wow, gorgeous!
And Stormbreeze, yours reminds me of a tropical fish.

Such a wide variety of patterns and styles in this batch! I liked the super-bright ones originally but some natural ones are really catching my eye too. My favorites so far are below, but some of these are so detailed I know I’ll fall in love with more as people post larger pictures 🙂

Eeeek I missed the e-mail by just 10 minutes, and they’re all spoken for already. Or, maybe just temporarily… I’ll have to watch and see if one hops out of a cart!
Edit: Got one as it jumped back into the inventory! I’m so excited that I fished out a Cadbury Creme Egg from my much-prized ‘hide it until you forget about it and find it in time for Halloween’ stash. Time to celebrate! 😀

Better pictures of my Kujaku koi ki-rin, as promised! She’s wonderfully bright but not in a clashing, neon way. I especially like how the black shading on the silver of her legs and tail soften and blend everything together. That said, she’s up for trade – I have an ad in the classifieds if anyone is interested.

I’m excited for these too! The neon-y colors are actually really catching my eye, which is unusual for me 🙂 The one on the top row, third from the left, and the one just beneath it to the left are my favorites of those pictured so far. Eye-popping!

Mine is finally unboxed, but better pictures will be forthcoming. Mine is at the front here:
Pretty slightly metallic bright orange sides with a pearly white forehead and black shading over metallic silver. She has glittery dark gray eyes and light copper hooves. I believe this one is patterned after a kujaku koi.
This beauty isn’t quite my cup of tea, so she’ll be up for trade! I’m hoping to find one of the really firey orange ones; the bottom left in the first picture, or near the top right in the third. As always, Melody you’ve done an amazing job with these. Such variety and such an adorable sculpt! Sorry that it took me so long to post photos – here’s my handsome wolf! I’ve named him Bridger, and he’s definitely a keeper in my eyes 🙂 Thank you again Melody, he’s perfect!

My wolf came in! I unfortunately won’t have time to take pics of him for a few days, but he’s a gorgeous natural timber wolf tricolor. In the class photo on Melody’s blog, he’s in the top left pic, four rows down, second from the left. I didn’t think I’d want one of the ‘normal’ wolves as much as a merle or something else funky, but he’s striking and appealed to me right out of the box. Yay!
Also wanted to echo Pegasus4240 in saying that I’m pleasantly surprised by how much I like the pebble wolf sculpt! This is my first one – I skipped the last batch because for some reason I wasn’t drawn to them. Having one in person and holding it in my hand completely changes my mind, for the better! 😀
Having a realization like this makes me really miss seeing Windstones in brick and mortar stores. There are no retailers I know of around me. Not like I go to the mall much anymore, but that’s where I fell in love with Windstones as a kid. A picture can do a lot, sure. But there’s a wonderful allure to being able to see a piece in person, walk around it if not hold it, and really have it hook you into buying it, haha! I’m glad I have this wolf now to remind me again of the quality of Melody’s work.

I wasn’t really that interested in getting one of the servals but now that i see how neat it looks with my African Wild Dog i’m in love 🙂
Melody airbrushed the markings so neatly on such a little pebble fox! I’m really impressed and super happy. Definitely keeping these two 😀
edit. On second thought. Its not really a serval is it? I don’t think Servals have rosettes 😮 Perhaps it’s a serval jaguar hybrid or an ocelot???
My guess is a Geoffery’s Cat! Some have bands of ocelot-like stripes down the neck and back, but have more densely spotted sides and bellies. In any case, your two pups are awesome together!

The hunting dog has a lot of small black dots to his chest, and my Grab Bag fox, is a ferret!
